5.0 out of 5 stars.  perfect rack, January 3, 2009
By Danimator (Southern California)
This rack is tall and sturdy enough to hold bikes with 700c wheels or 26in wheels provided that they aren't too wide. It fits my mountain bike with 1.5in X2 26 in wheels and my road bike.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Works Great, August 8, 2009
By Scott E. Forsythe (Toledo, OH USA)
Mountain bike and road bike's spokes don't lean against the stand like other bike stands. Keeps the bike up straight.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Works with a tandem, July 23, 2009
By DCwom
This stand works well with the extra long length of a tandem bike. It is light and easy to toss into the back of a mini van so we bring it along when we drive & bike for easy set up (front wheel, water bottles, etc.)

Our stand came with a clip to use the stand as a repair stand that holds the rear wheel off the ground for drive train adjustments

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Do you care about your wheel and spokes?, January 18, 2010
By turbine boosted (Arizona)
Then this is the stand you need to buy. Plain, sturdy, and just pure elegant.

It will not rest the bike on spokes, rim, or derailer, and it clears 8 inch disc rotors with ease (the largest I know is 9 inches). Fits a 26x2.5 tire and holds a 35 lbs downhill machine like a glove.

Hoping for a 29er version or spacer soon.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Excellent, May 21, 2010
By C. Hayes
This is a one-of-a-kind, top quality product. I could find nothing else like it. Everything else is insufficient or poorly designed.
This holds my Diamondback Recoil (also purchased from Amazon) with knobby 26 x 2.1 tires perfectly. The fit is snug but that's also a good thing.
This is really the only way to park a mountain bike without hanging it somewhere. It's not possible to put a kickstand on most mountain bikes (I researched).
I recommend the following modification:
The unit comes in two pieces. I glued them together with Liquid Nails from Wal-Mart. If you don't glue them together, and you try to lift the unit to move it someplace, the top will come off. Also, it has a much sturdier feel to it when it's glued.
UPDATE 1 ... the Liquid Nails didn't hold up ... so I'm also going to review Liquid Nails and give it a score of ZERO. I'll have to do what I didn't want to do and drill holes through the bike rack bars :(
UPDATE 2 ... I purchased two 7/64 x 2 1/4 hitch pins from Lowes and drilled two holes using 7/64 bit and that worked perfectly. I uploaded photos for you to see on the main product page.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Bicycle stand, December 11, 2009
By William R. Secord (West Lebanon, NH)
This stand is extremely sturdy and stable. It holds the bike secure with a minimum of space. I especially appreciate the workmanship.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  light-weight, but sturdy, October 20, 2009
By TandemRider (Boulder, CO)
Sleek-looking, lightweight bicycle stands that hold all of our bikes: road, tandem, mountain....
A nice product, not too expensive to buy one for each bicycle.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Perfect stand, September 29, 2009
By sli
This stand was delivered quickly and was put together in two seconds. There are only two pieces. I use this for my road bike and have already bought another for a friend of mine. I've never owned a different stand, but this one is head and shoulders above the stands my friends have.

Other reviews are correct: product is awesome. Note that mine shipped with a couple of screws and pre-drilled holes to keep the top and bottom together. Easy quick and simple assembly, nice looking, work greats, sturdy.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Excellent. Exactly what I was looking for., March 5, 2010
By Some Guy

This is exactly what I wanted.

I have a small place and keep my bike in the kitchen, so I wanted to take up as little room as possible.

At the same time, I wanted a rack that held my $1,000 bike securely and did not put pressure on the spokes like other stands do.

Great price. Compact. Effective.

Couldn't have asked for more.

1.0 out of 5 stars.  Price is tripled!, June 3, 2010
By wut?
I have this stand and I love it. I paid $27 for it however. If you search for this, you will see the MSRP is $35 and it sells for less than that all over the net. What is with this pricing?!

4.0 out of 5 stars.  performs exactly as advertised, July 3, 2011
By Tom
I purchased this bike stand to help declutter the garage and keep the bicycle from falling over. It works perfectly and fits in a compact space. It works well with either front or rear bike tire. A bit pricey but a very nice product.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great, but overpriced on Amazon, June 26, 2011
By J916
This is the best bike stand out there. Very sturdy, and no worries about the spokes of your wheel resting on the stand like with the other smaller stands sold here. BUT!!!!!!!!!!! This thing is very overpriced on Amazon, not sure why. After searching around the web I was able to find it for $35 shipped to my door. Check out Outside Outfitters on the web. Save yourself some money!

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Nice stands, May 7, 2011
By T. Burgess (Tulsa, OK)
I now have two of these stands, although one is the cheaper "some assembly required" version. They are pretty much the same after their together. They do have one drawback for road bikes. Because of the spacing of the stand, the bikes lean a lot. I finally bought some foam spacers to go on the tubes, and now they fit great. My Scott road bike has thinner tires (.86" wide) and still leans a bit even with the spacers, as they are not thick enough, but better than the way it was before.

My only complaint is that the spacers should be included with the stand so we don't have to spend the extra cash to get them.

I haven't had the problem like one person has, where the top part of the stand comes off, mine is snug, and even after removing to place the spacers on, and replacing again, it still stays snug, and I can pick it up at the top without any worry of it falling apart. A tad expensive, but you can save a bit and get the boxed version that needs assembly, especially if you are buying 2 or more.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Not able to keep your bike from blowing over in 15 to 20 knot wind, March 29, 2011
By Cary Strickland
Not bad for keeping your bike upright in a controlled environment. But left it outside with a recumbent quasi low racer (Catbike Musashi) docked and it let the bike blow over in a moderate wind. I own two of these bike display stands and for bikes without kickstands they are a good option. Another six to eight inches on the legs and it could handle more wind.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Works great but hard to move, February 1, 2011
By Wendy (Santa Clara, CA)
This stand works great. My only complaint is that if I need to move my bike, I have to lift it off the stand and move the stand first. Otherwise, the top of the stand comes off the bottom and I have to mess with it to put it back together. Other than that, it works great and has kept my bike upright for over a year.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Excellent Product, August 24, 2010
By Joe Tolle (Albuquerque, NM United States)
Glad i didn't get a cheaper option. This is a great solution for storing a bike that you use often. It is so quick and easy to use. Bike is stable and well displayed (if you like to admire your machine).

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great stand!, July 21, 2010
By G. Dubin
There's not much more that can be said that hasn't been already in these reviews. This is a great stand. I own a mountain bike and had problems with previous stands. They'd tip over from the weight (or roll around).

This stand holds the bike firmly without moving around and doesn't put any pressure on the spokes. If you're looking for a stand, look no further!

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great stand for a lightweight bike, April 14, 2010
By zombie studios (Seattle, WA)
I purchased several different bike racks for my office - where we have a lot of riders.
This particular stand works great for lightweight bikes. It's the favorite around the office. However, it doesn't work as well for heavier bikes, or bikes with bags on the sides.
Also, it's amazingly easy to put together. It takes 15 seconds!

5.0 out of 5 stars.  I Agree - It's a Great Bike Stand, April 4, 2010
By W. Sly (Minnesota, USA)
I'm in agreement with all of the other reviewers - this is a great bike stand.
We recently purchased a Cannondale tandem that we have in the front hallway because, well, we don't know where else to put the 'long bike'. It was leaning up against the wall with the potential for being knocked over, damaging the bike, the wall, or both.
I bought the Willworx, Superstand (the one we bought is the 'Consumer' version which simply slides together)and, now, no worries. It assembles in 10 seconds or less and will last longer than I will.
Willworx sells foam pieces that you can add to the upright bars to support narrow 'racing' style wheels. Our tandem has relatively narrow 700 x 28 tires and the stand holds the bike upright very well. Also supports my road bike with 700 x 23 tires. So the foam add-ons will make a little 'tighter' fit but aren't necessary to use the stand as is.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Very pleased, March 22, 2010
By FLDonna (Tampa, Florida USA)
I did a lot of research before buying a bike rack for my expensive Fuji road bike. Most of them rested against the spokes putting the weight of the bike on the spokes. Not this one! This is the best bike rack IMO. It also fits my TREK mountain bike with the fat knobby tires with room to spare. It also has nice rubber grips on the bottom and won't slip/scratch the tile floor. It arrived fast and was very well packaged. I am VERY HAPPY!

5.0 out of 5 stars.  A simple but well made Rack, February 17, 2010
By Susan B. Little (Iowa City, IA USA)
It is only two peices and slides together in seconds. Holds the bike upright without damage to spokes or frame. For hubby's Tri-bike with narrow wheels we had to put a couple of short peices of plumbing pipe insulation near the top to make the opening tighter and hold the bike upright. No big deal. Anyway, Just ordered another for packing in the suitcase and traveling to events.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Best Design Available, February 14, 2010
By Happy Camper
The most frustrating thing I find with bikes is storing and transporting them without damage. Without a doubt this is the best design available for a floor parking rack. It clears derailleurs and disc brakes, doesn't touch the spokes and supports even skinny front wheels very well. The solid, no fuss welded construction is worth whatever little extra this costs over a bolt together rack. The hammered metal finish looks great and has held up so far.

The manufacturer's web site suggests it can be used to help transporting bikes and it did work well for me. For a bike in my truck bed I put one wheel in the rack and lightly strap down the bike frame. it is quite stable. When transporting one bike I do the same but I use both of my racks (one on each wheel) and it is rock solid.

Some else mentioned it being good for tandems - it also works for a road bike with kids trailer bike attached. For extra large mountain bikes there is a slightly wider version. Our mountain bikes with stock tires are a slightly snug, secure fit. This is great except sometimes you pull the bike back and the rack comes with it. I'll take the extra secure fit.

On a smooth painted concrete floor it can slide a bit. Several good knocks of the bike will turn the front wheel enough for the bike to fall over. In practice I haven't had a bike fall over and it is a 100 times more stable than resting the bike against a wall. The accessory to join two racks together probably solves this issue completely.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Exactly what it is supposed to do., January 30, 2010
By John Rau (Indianapolis, IN USA)
This stand does exactly what it is supposed to, which is rare in most items you buy today. It holds your bike securely and doesn't use the spokes to hold it up like so many others. If you love your bike get this stand

5.0 out of 5 stars.  A Great Stand, January 8, 2010
By Marvin Hirschfield (Eugene, OR)
I have been surprised by items I've bought on line, both pleasantly and otherwise,
but I was VERY pleasantly surprised by this stand. It screams quality. Sturdy, good looking and effective, best describe this item. It holds the bike and looks good doing it. And it requires almost no assembly, just on peice fitting into another, a breeze. I highly recommend this stand. PS Delivery was very fast. MH

P.S. I had to install my screws...since the package did not have any.
