5.0 out of 5 stars.  Bicycle Alert, August 10, 2006
By William (CROSSVILLE, TN, United States)
When bicycling locally and approaching pedestrians, it can startle them to shout that you're passing. The "old-fashioned bell of our youth" gives a timely and pleasant 'warning' that a bicyclist is nearing, giving them ample time to step aside - and it puts a smile on their faces as They remember "The Bell". A young man declared it "awesome". The word 'big' is misleading, as the bell is the size of those of Years ago. I tested other bell-types, but those were cumbersome to use, and didn't give an adequate warning sound. The price was reasonable and they arrived quickly.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Nice bell, May 14, 2007
By Dana A. Nuccitelli (West Sacramento, CA USA)
This bell has a nice loud chime and it's a good size - not too big, not too small. It's easy to install with just a screwdriver required.

1.0 out of 5 stars.  not kid friendly, November 9, 2006
By grandma of 2 (Oklahoma)
Beautiful bell, wonderful tone except it should only be used by adults. Kids dump their bikes over...and over and this bell falls apart each and every time. Yes I can put it back together but it should not be used by kids if durability is an issue

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great Price for great bell, August 29, 2007
By G. Sherck
We removed the bells that came on our new Trek hybrid bikes as they were cheap and tiny; this bell is all the positive results in other five star reviews: incrediblell. However, we bought ours at a local bike shop; the price was $3-4 more than you pay on Amazon, which we regret for not checking Amazon first.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Works just fine, January 5, 2007
By Robert A. Reese (Columbus, Ohio)
Easy to install. Loud bell. I use it to alert joggers when I am bicycling in the park. Works very well. This bell does the trick. It certainly rings loud. Just what I need when riding in the park. I may purchase more for the children in the neighborhood.

3.0 out of 5 stars.  A so so bike bell, June 13, 2008
By Winston (Orange, CA)
I bought a Mirrycle Incredibell for myself and a Kettler Red Metal Bell for my little daughter. I have to say I like the Kettler better. The Kettler looks sturdier and and has a louder sound and better tune.

Easy to use and install, this bell has a lovely sound! It's a nice size- not too overbearing but you definitely notice it. A good buy.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Ring Your Bell, January 9, 2007
By Nancy Kubistal
This bell was purchased for a grown man who rides around on a Quad. When he received this bell for a Christmas present, he said, "Now this is something I really like".
This bell can be used by young and old, and in so many different places. Giver, and receiver, are both happy with this product.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  The MIRRYCLE BELL is Better Than BELL, April 25, 2009
By M. Meltzer (SYRACUSE)
My little grandchildren love noise makers, especially on their bycycles. Last year I bought two bells from Walmart for two of my kids. The brand was BELL. They make various types of sports equiptment. I installed them on the handlebars and then tried them out. One of them immediately fell apart in my hand and I could see the the inner parts were made of cheap plastic. I returned it. The other bell seemed okay so i left it. At this point I needed a repalcemant bell and I ordered one of the silver Mirrycle Incredibells through Amazon. Not only is it srtong and sturdy but it has a beautiful musical sound, like the one I had when I was a kid. It does not sound like a toy. When the snow finally melted, the kids took out thrir bikes and this was when the second BELL bell also fell apart. During the Winter the plastic parts had crumbled. So I ordered a second replacement; another Mirrycle Incredibell but this time in brass so I could compare. Both Mirrycle bells sound great and my little grandchileren are very happy. Choose your favoite color because they both sound the same....excellent. The Mirrycle bells cost about twice as much as the Bell bells but the Mirrycles made my kids happy while the BELL bells turned to dust. So if you want to save money, buy a BELL bell. Or better yet go out and buy yourself a hand full of dust. It's ever cheaper and will work just as well.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Just what I wanted, June 8, 2008
By R. Peterson (Seattle, WA USA)
I bought a new retro-looking city/commuting bike that came with a tiny bell that hurt my finger every time I tried to ring it. Sometimes I would even miss and not ring the bell in time. Yesterday, I bought the Big Brass Bell at a local bike shop, and it's so easy! It attached very easily with a screwdriver, I get two rings (backwards and forwards), it's a nice big sound (but not startling for pedestrians), and it doesn't hurt my finger. Plus, its retro style looks great on my retro bike.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Good sound, February 17, 2008
By M. Cardinale (N.O.,LA)
I hate whimpy bells, that just ding. This bell has a long, loud ringing sound, which you need if you ride in the city. Hits the thumb perfectly, and has a smooth lever. Looks great, easy to install.
I just wish I had paid closer attention, and ordered the brass color, to match my bike.

I like the musical sound of the bell. It saves me from yelling at people when
I go down the trail. Easy to install and easy to use when bicycling.

3.0 out of 5 stars.  Bell mounting should be larger, June 25, 2008
By Daffadil9 (Burnsville, MN United States)
It was a nice bell but the opening to put on the handle bar should be larger. It must be for a kids bike. I got it on thanks to a very long screw, but it does not look the best.

3.0 out of 5 stars.  Not up to what's written, February 10, 2010
By T. TEO
It was a nice looking bell, but while the sound was melodic, the volume wasn't as full as described. It was melodically pleasant, but gentle volumed. Passer-bys wouldn't hear it until too close, and vehicles with closed windows will definitely not hear it. My old German bell works better. Thought I'd get a replacement least it breaks down, Looks like I've got to look for another bell as replacement. The Mirrycle Incredibell Big Bicycle Bell just didn't live up to my expectation. :-(

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Rings a Known Tone, May 30, 2011
By Al
Having recently gotten into bike riding again, my wife and I cruise the neighborhood on our beach cruisers. Like others have said, just announcing yourself as you come up on pedestrians does nothing to relieve the "startle factor". Saying, "Coming by !" then buzzing past does nothing; they still jump.

I looked into the smaller Incredibells that only offer a "Ping" sound when struck. Granted, better than nothing, but it is still an uncommon sound to most people, even when struck repeatedly. Then I saw the Incredibell Big Bell. It has the familiar "briiing-briiing" sound that immediately says bike bell.

Now people turn, smile and wave, no longer do they jump and turn, giving an uneasy smile.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  great bicycle bell, May 29, 2011
By l2 (California)
Great bell. Nice sound. The lever action is more reliable than the push clinkers found on cheaper bells. Just be careful that the clamp only fits on smaller handlebars. Many newer bicycles come with handlebars that are more than 1 inch in diameter near the center.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Truly an Incredibell!, February 21, 2009
By Sometimes a Critic (St.Croix Valley, MN USA)
Brinnnng! Brinnnng! Brinnnng! This bicycle bell has the pleasant bright sound of a vintage rotary dial telephone. Real brass makes the difference!
The Incredibell was a great purchase: It has quality and sound for a reasonabe price. Also,it's easy to operate and install. This bike bell is a must have for all cyclists. I looked for a bike bell in our local stores, but only found junk. Don't hesitate to order the Mirrycle Incredibell Big Brass Bicycle Bell online if you can't find it in a brick and mortar store.

1.0 out of 5 stars.  Big Bell Is not big and is junk, November 26, 2009
By Amazon Customer (CA, USA)
Purchased the Incredibell Big Bell. Poor quality. All cheap plastic from the bell down. It is not Big at all. In fact it is smaller than most bells. The Title is misleading and the bell is junk.

1.0 out of 5 stars.  Bell- piece of junk, August 13, 2008
By John A. Depinto (IL)
What a piece of junk and waste of money. The first time that my bike accidentally tipped over the top of the bell broke off from the base attached to handle bar. It was held in place by a thin plastic shaft that was not repairable. I've since purchaced a much sturdier bell for the same price. I do NOT recommend this bell.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Love it!, November 8, 2011
By Dad that does it all.
I'm a kid at heart and I love toys that are classic and fun to play with. Even though many of my co-workers think I'm outright fruity for putting this on my bike, I still love chiming it every time I roll into work. It's loud and gives that perfect rinnnnngggg ringnnnnggg.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Picture doesn't match., July 1, 2011
By Joshua Johnson
I ordered this bell seen in the picture above, and received the end of the "Incredibell Bar End Bell" version. It works fine, but it just isn't what is shown in the picture. I would return it, but I'm in a remote location and return shipping is pricey and unreliable.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Cool Little Bell, May 14, 2011
By zipdip12
Got tired of constantly asking people to move that are taking up the whole sidewalk , works like a charm give her a ring ring and they step aside , except for the morons who keep their Ipod so high they can not hear anything ! Gave 4 stars because the plastic is a little cheap and I think will break sooner than later but overall happy with the purchase .

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Not a ding-a-ling...., May 14, 2011
By P. H. Phillips (Orlando, USA)
Nice bell for sure. Easy to mount, easy to use and best of all has a sound that people hear. I ride bike nearly every day and constantly use it to warn people I'm coming up behind them. Unless they're wearing earphones it immediately grabs walkers, joggers attention and allows them to move to one side of the walkway. Looks really good as well. Side benefit - provides entertainment as you watch squirrels race up nearby trees as they seem to respond to the tone! Much better than a bulb-type bike horn and much more pleasant to hear.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great Sounding Bike Bell, May 12, 2011
By motherchucker (New Lenox, IL)
It sounds great and the ring tone resonates for a little longer because it is brass. It isn't extremely loud but the sound is easy on the ears and notifies anyone in front of your bike ride.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Really nice, loud bell, August 19, 2010
By MayaH (Arlington, VA USA)
I was looking for a louder bike bell because I ride on paths with a ton of pedestrians. The bill I had before was just a single "ding" sound, which just didn't get enough attention. This is the old school "brrring" sound that's very identifiable as a bike bell. It is quite large, so if you've got a packed handle bar, it may be tough to fit it in. The other thing is that I found it easier to ring if I tilted it so that I could use my thumb to push the lever down, rather than using a finger to push it horizontally. So if you're having trouble getting a comfortable angle to ring it, just rotate the bell around and try a thumb instead of a finger.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Works great, May 19, 2010
By S. Ramos (indiana)
I use this all the time, it really lets walkers know when I'm coming up behind them....they scoot over fast! Not everyone thinks about bikes when they are walking on trails, so this little bell is a friendly way to say 'Look out!'

Excellent loud old fashioned bell ring. Very suitable for cycling on towpaths where you want to be heard. Sturdy design less likely to break than the small modern ting bells
