The Yakima Q-Towers are designed to provide a sturdy, custom anchor for rooftop car rack systems with cross beams--on just about any vehicle. The "Q" in "Q-Towers" stands for quadruple movement--meaning that the Q-Tower moves in four different ways to provide a seamless fit to your vehicle and a perfect interaction with your attachment clips. The Q-Tower's movement derives from a ball-and-socket mechanism, which combines with the tower's solid, die-cast, one-piece body for a combination of stability and flexibility. The one-piece body is optimized for easier mounting with a side-wedge tightening system. Please note that the Q-Towers do not come with the attachment clips. Vehicle-specific Yakima Q-Clips are recommended for a custom fit on your door frame, but are sold separately. Cross bars are also required to complete the system and are also sold separately. The Q-Towers come in a pack of four and carry a limited lifetime warranty from Yakima.
The Q-Towers feature die-cast interiors for solid, sturdy anchoring. | Specifications:- Weight: 6.8 pounds
- Dimensions: 5 inches from base to top of bar
- Capacity: varies by car
- Requires Q-Clips and crossbars (sold separately)
