NOT WHAT I EXPECTED, May 25, 2009
By TOM

When I read the other two reviews here I decided to buy these gloves. Now, I think I made a mistake. They are cheaply made, (what could I expect from $19 a pair)they started to feel uncomfortable from the first use and the seams hurt your hands. The material they are made of in the palms stays in the handle bars of your bike and in your clothes.
Not a good choice. Pay a bit more, get better quality.

OK, but not that comfy, June 27, 2009

The Cycling gloves are a bit small for their advertised size, but fit pretty well. The 'gel' part seems to be in the wrong areas; my hands still get a bit numb on a really long, rough ride. The 'gel' part also seems of limited utility, and not much better than foam. My daughter's tiny little gloves seem far superior, albeit at 50% greater cost. This cycling glove is a good compromise on performance and value, but falls a little short on performance.

Good But Not Great: Revision, September 11, 2010
By sisophous (New York, USA)

The quality of these gloves is not what they once were. Roughly 6 years ago I bought this product at a sports store and it was terrific. My pair finally wore out so I was happy to find it on-line and wrote a review about how fantastic it is while I waited for two pairs to arrive in the mail. Today I received it and can tell you the quality is not nearly as good as my old pair. I got size XL and it was a tight fit, obviously smaller than my first pair. I really do not know how this sizing works, but it would feel tight on a lot of men's hands, perhaps it is sized moreso for a woman. The foam padding is similar but not as thick as on my first pair either. It does not allow my hands to breathe as much as on my first pair as the top of the hand is covered with material on these new ones. I checked and compared the new pair to my old pair and both are labelled as being made in Pakistan so they must have deliberately cut down on the quality. Not sure if I will keep the second pair or return it but will wait to see if my new pair breaks in and feels more comfortable over time. The glove is still as good as anything I try on at bike shops and not bad for the price. I would not order another glove on-line as there seems to be a lack of consistency in the sizing of gloves despite purchasing the identical product. Go to bike shops and try them on until you eventually find something right.

Great cycling gloves, July 15, 2010

These gloves are fairly priced and have padding where i need it, particularly at the hand heels (lower outside palm area). They make for great weight lifting gloves also for the same reason.

great value gloves, November 17, 2009

ok, so i've read the other reviews & for the most part this will mirror the favorable ones. these gloves, while not a generic, certainly aren't a widely known name in the cycling world. they are however, comfortable & a great value for the price. i haven't had them long enough to gauge the wear, but i have not found anything about them that would indicate that they are inferior in any way. i have several different gloves but i find myself using these more & more often. no gloves are going to last forever but i would venture that anyone experiencing premature wear are either extremely hard on them or do not have the correct size. i find them quite comfortable & appreciate the bigger velcro closure.

Be careful of hand sizing / cheap quality, November 11, 2011
By madcow

I measured my hands twice to be sure I got things right based on the sizing guidelines on this product's page. The sizing guidelines are about an inch overstated on the actual fit. I kept them on, giving them the benefit of the doubt, for about a mile or so but had to take them off because my hands were hurting too much. As I was taking them off, I noticed some flawed stiching between the gray leather-like material and the blue mesh. They are being returned today.
