Jakd Microfiber Cloths sport high-performing wedge shaped split strands to remove dirt particles, all while protecting surfaces from ugly scratches. Superior to cotton and terry cloth, each Jakd fiber is split into 16 separate microfiber strands and is several hundred times smaller than a strand of cotton. Jakd is highly absorbent, lint and streak-free, retains six times its weight in water and is machine washable up to 500 times. Each towel is 16" x 16".

Works just a little bit better then my terry cloth towels..., December 20, 2009
By J. Brooks (Nampa, Idaho United States)

Just like the title says, dries just a little bit better then my terry cloth towels I have laying around. The only plus side to using these over terry cloth towels is that these don't leave fuzz all over which is nice.
When it comes to keeping my car clean I'm a perfectionist and these microfiber towels just don't hold up par with some of my other microfiber towels I have, such as the Big Blue and Little Blue drying towels.
The kicker for me is their clever marketing, "retains six times its weight in water". Well the towel weighs in a little less then 2.7 ounces, so six times 2.7 is only 16.2 DRY ounces. 16.2 dry ounces is only 15 or so liquid ounces, not much more then a terry cloth towel. So don't be fooled into believing it will soak up and hold water like a sponge.
Pros:
Fairly cheap.
It does dry.
Doesn't leave fuzz all over your car.
Cons:
Doesn't dry any better then terry cloth.
Doesn't hold all that much water.

Great value great soft microfiber, May 20, 2010

I detail cars on a monthly basis and I gotta hand it to these towels. They do the job so well I only need to use 2 per car when finishing up the drying. I'm a detail freak so you can get away with 1 per car! A good tip is to apply detailing spray on a daily basis and make sure to wipe with Voodoo Ride microfibers. They keep the car streak and waterspot free. Just spray the detailing spray (after a wash) and wipe with the microfiber. It takes 5-10 minutes and if you do this daily, you'll never have to wash your car again with the Voodoo microfibers!

So so, March 24, 2010

Nice sized towels. But a bit slick such that they don't seem to absorb much, and once used a bit to wipe windows from oily residue, it begins to smudge.

Great, depending on the price..., March 12, 2010

I ordered this to keep my Escalade's wood dash clean without scratching it, its a great soft microfiber, though I've seen higher thread counts that are softer. It didn't leave fine scratches on the wood's clear coat, but I do use a polish with the cloth. It depends on the price you're gonna pay to determine if this cloth is worth it.
I first ordered this on a lightning deal back in December '09 and it was Six bucks minus three which came out too 3 bucks for the 2 pack, I thought that was a great deal for 2 cloths! Then in January '10 I bought another 2 pack and it was only a dollar and 79 cents!! And I got 2 day shipping on both for free since i'm a Prime member.
Anyways, its a great deal but today I came back to buy another 2 and saw the price jumped to 9 fifty...yikes, not at that price, especially since it was so much cheaper just a little while ago.

Great Cheap Microfiber Cloths., March 9, 2010

I use these to clean up my monitors and electronics so for that job they seem to be doing quite well. I know they were meant for cleaning your car but they are very good to keep your desk/electronics clean. I bought them for around $4 so I'm quite happy with my purchase.
I'm not sure how they would perform in terms of cleaning cars for I haven't used them, but if you want something to keep your work area clean, for a relatively cheap price, pick these up!

Great for everyday cleaning, January 23, 2010

I realize this product is actually sold for car-cleaning purposes, but I picked a few up when they were last on sale for some household clean-up purposes and love them (as much as you can love a microfiber cloth that you only spent a couple bucks on).
Cleaning computer monitors, glasses, TV and movies are my primary uses. I purchased some other microfiber cloths specifically for these purposes in the past, but the Voodoo seem to have more to them and are overall a bit softer (whether this actually makes a difference, I can't say). One of the nice things is the size - rather than 6x6" or 8x8" cloths, these give you 2 nice sized ones (16x16").
I can't back up any of the claims made in the description, I just know it works for what I wanted it for, and I have no complaints with it (hence the 5 stars) and found it to be a very worthwhile purchase (based on what I paid). I probably wouldn't pay the MSRP on it, but during another sale I'd pick up a few more of these.
