Great bang for your buck, June 10, 2010
By Chad

I use these CO2 cartridges as emergency air supply if I have a flat tire on my bicycle. I couldn't bring myself to pay ten dollars for only two cartridges so I bought this "value pack." You can't find a better price per cartridge online. It's pretty much as advertised. I haven't had to use one yet but they look pretty standard and the threads look in good shape. They don't ship in the same box picture above so they aren't packaged as neatly as I would like but that's not the end of the world. Would buy again if I had to but seeing as I have so many that won't be for another five years.

Poor quality, January 27, 2011
By David Murphy (Petaluma, CA United States)

It may just be a fluke but of the 12 cartridges I received 2of them had damaged threads making them unusable. I tried filing the threads but that did not work.

Deceptive Picture, March 26, 2011
By Taylor

I would give this five stars except that the cartridges don't come in a box, they come in an envelope. Somewhat unprofessional of a practice. Other than that, the cartridges are great.

Good Alternative at a great price, April 20, 2011
By Jack Fleming (Seattle, WA)
|
|
I would give these 5 stars but the quality isn't quite up to par with Cartridge's I've purchased at REI or a local bike shop. The threading isn't perfectly threaded(for lack of a better word). As in, if you compare a cartridge purchases elsewhere, the threading just looks a bit more precise. I haven't actually experienced an issue with leaking CO2 when using but there is a visable difference.
Overall though, a great low-cost alternative to a bike shop, and the quality is definitly good enough to purchase this bulk pack over anywhere else.

had a problem but seller is replacing, December 19, 2011
By D. Clagg

I have used the cartridges that come with the convincer and reordered too and never had a problem. This was my first purchase of these cartridges. I have gone through about 6 that don't thread properly and all the co2 oozes out and renders them worthless. So far one has been OK. Very disappointing!
I contacted the seller and he is replacing the cartridges and said they will work properly. Good customer service! Thank you!

works well, July 15, 2011

I have used one co2 for a flat on my road bike. I checked the pressure afterwards. The co2 put in 105 psi, and it had a little pressure left. (which is perfect for me) You may need more than one for mountain bike tire.

Low price, decent quality., June 25, 2011
By J. Seitzinger

I went with these because they're by far the most bang for your buck on Amazon. Sure, they don't come nicely packaged, but I'm paying for CO2 cartridges, not the packaging they come in. Only problem, and it's a slight one, is the fact that a couple of them are bulging at the "weak point" where the hole ends up going. None of them have exploded or leaked or anything, but it's still enough to knock off a star.

CO2 when needed, June 27, 2010
By BL (The Illini, USA)
|
|
I got these shipped in quick. I am a cyclist and needed to make sure I have CO2 for my pump. Luckily, I haven't needed to use them yet, but they are standard to what I use so there should be no issue with them. They all arrived quick and and in good condition.

I'll stick with my frame pump, April 20, 2011
By Timazon (Hauppauge, NY USA)
|
|
There's nothing wrong with these CO2 cartridges, but they're larger and heavier than I thought they'd be, and I would need to carry two plus an inflator on my road bike.
I got the Topeak Pocket Rocket DX MasterBlaster Bike Pump instead. It's lightweight, works pretty well, looks good, stores out of the way behind my water bottle cage, and never runs out of air...

Great value, threads were in good shape, February 1, 2012
By -Dave (USA)
|
|
Saw another review that said two of the threads were in bad shape. My box (usps priority mail) all the threads are in perfect shape. Threads are nice and clean and these guys are a perfect alternative to the $4.00 bike shop singles. Don't hesitate to buy them.

16 gram treaded CO2 Cartridge, January 19, 2012
By Hillel Yisrael (New Orleans, Louisiana United States)

I purchase these along with a couple Innovations Ultraflate Plus C02 Inflator with 16g Cartridge
for each of my bicycles. They work great. I placed a cartridge into each and put cap on but not
tighting all the way - not punching hole in cartrige. When I eed air in my bicycle tires I will
tighten to activate. The Inflator is well build and has trigger to open and close CO2! Very handy.

Who packages these things???, January 17, 2012
By mctavern (Durham, NH United States)
|
|
Recently received these and tested one out to make sure they work fine and to make sure they go in easily so I'm not frustrated when I go on my trip (biking across America!)
My only issue is the way they were packaged, they were throw in the box with no padding or organization so they apparently banged into each other a lot. Two of the cartridges had dents (used one of the dented ones in my test).
Worth the price by jeez throw some bubble wrap or something in there

CO2, December 30, 2011
By C. Osburn (Washington State)
|
|
These arrived quickly, in a padded envelope. Not much to say about a gang of CO2 cartridges; I use them with an inflator for my bike. One cartridge is not enough to get you up to full pressure on a 700c tire, but it is enough to get above 100psi to get to the bike shop.

I use mine to inflate bike tires.
My unit uses the screw in or can use the unthreaded but it's nice to have the threaded.

Great!, November 27, 2011
By S. H. Khan (Albuquerque, NM)

I have never had as many flat tires as I have had since moving to New Mexico. So, I make it a point to keep atleast a couple of CO2 cartridges handy in my bike saddle bag. I have already used 3 of the dozen I ordered. They work fantastic, without any problems :)

Nothing fancy, but good for the price, November 25, 2011
By S. Capello (New York, USA)

They come in a plain cardboard box, nothing fancy. However, the are less expensive than anything else out there, so who cares what kind of box. They work well, though, all arriving in good condition.

Same as more expensive ones, September 24, 2011
By B. Buisson (Atlanta, GA)

If your not concerned about a fancy paint job, or a nice box- these are the ones to buy. My first purchase was at my local bike shop. I paid over 20 bucks for 2 co2 cartridges. These do the exact same thing, for alot less.

Threaded CO2 Cartridges., September 20, 2011
By ECW (Gary,IN USA)
|
|
What's to say Threaded CO2 Cartridges for my Bicycle air inflator. They work I haven't had a dud as of yet. One CO2 falls short of sufficiently airing up a MTB 26 tire but 2 will do. Maybe there's a larger than 16 gram CO2 on the market, must check... decent buy.

CO2 cartridge, September 20, 2011
By rob

well I have not used them yet, they are for emergencies, (flats on the highway), I will use them with Red zepplin inflator when the need arises, they are as stated and i carry three to allow for mishaps, one should inflate my 1-1/4X 27 tires though, happy with price, not much else to say, they are standard CO2 carts.

Cheaper than the LBS, September 2, 2011
By duder (dallas)
|
|
I hate paying a couple bucks for these at the LBS, and while i dont flat often (tubeless) when i do, its nice to not need a hand pump. Also great for seating tubeless tires that are finicky with a floor pump. 12 should last me a few years.

Cartridges exactly as described. I plan on using them in an emergency flat bike tire situation, haven't had to yet. Would buy from again if I ever need more.
