4.0 out of 5 stars.  awkwardly comfortable, November 29, 2008
By NcCfsAdvisor (NC, USA)
Recenlty saw these socks on Amazon and since I had never heard of such a concept, I figured I'd read a couple reviews, do a little online researching and give'em a whirl.

They are AWESOME!!! Just received them this morning and immediately tried them out - They certainly have a unique feel, since I'm not normally accustomed to having something between my toes- but I quickly got use to them after about 30-45 mintues of wear. They are extremely comfortable and after being on for about a hour or so I actually had forgotten that my toes now had their own little separate compartments to rest in.

I travel extensively (middle east, southeast asia, south america, U.S. East coast) and I have no doubt these socks will wear extremely well - curently they're getting their initiation in the middle east; I spend a lot of time on my feet in a variety of shoe styles and paticipating in everything from running to walking to jumping to driving so I'm looking forward to seeing how they wear over time.

Initial thoughts:

Takes a little longer to put on then normal socks - but well worth the extra time

Very soft and comfortable on the feet and toes

a little extra time in removing them as well since you have to pull the little toes back out - but once again, well worth the effort thus far.

I will definitely update this review in about 3-4 months to let everyone know how they're holding up

1.0 out of 5 stars.  Socks made of bad material, February 22, 2011
By Ingrid (AU)
I bought these socks to check whether they would help me prevent blisters between the toes during long walks. My findings are the following:
- they fitted very well;
- after 2 long walks my feet and, specifically, my toes remained blister free;
- found the sock too thin to wear as a single layer, and too thick to wear as a double layer;
- after 2 extensive walks I already have a hole in one of the big toes and wear and tear can be noticed in the fabric of the socks
There is hence no comparison with my Falke Trekking socks of which I have 3 pairs and have been walking with them on a weekly basis for the last 3 years. They have no holes, nor do they show the level of wear and tear that these Injinji Performance Crew Toeshocks already show after 2 weeks of usage. It is a shame because I did not get any blisters between the toes. So, back to my Falke socks in combination with tape around the toes.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Perfect!, April 21, 2010
By VVA
I was looking for socks that would prevent nasty blisters between my toes (which happens when I go on long hikes). These were perfect! The fit was great - use the sizing chart. My feet sweat a lot and these socks kept my feet feeling comfortable. It is only the cost that prevents me from purchasing a lot more. They are very comfortable and I highly recommend them for hiking, in spite of the cost.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  INJINJI complements VIBRAM, April 9, 2011
By KaribbeanKool (Bronx, NY)
I purchased these toe socks to complement wearing my Vibram FiveFinger KSO shoes during the cold weather. It seems to offer a little cushioning while on walking on concrete, especially if you're new to wearing minimalist shoes.

3.0 out of 5 stars.  Not a perfect fit . . ., May 15, 2010
By Health tchr
I read so many raving reviews of this product and thought it would be perfect for me as I am training for a half-marathon, but get blisters in different areas around my toes. I have small feet so I bought the small size which fit great, but my toes are too short to fit into these socks correctly. There is extra material that hangs off the ends of 3 of my toes on each foot. So if you have longer toes, you absolutely have to get these socks. If your toes are stubby, then these probably won't work for you.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Perfect sock for my Vibram FIveFingers, October 8, 2011
By Moogy (Chandler, AZ)
I've gone through a number of socks with my Vibrams and found the Injinji to be the most durable and comfortable. When other toed socks would start developing holes in the bottom due to shuffling around out wood floors, these things hold up without any problems. Worth every penny!

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Injinji Baseball Toe Socks, March 9, 2011
By Ed from Denver (Colorado, USA)
As I understand it, these socks were made at the specific bethest of Japanese Professional Baseball Players who wanted a product to help diminish chafing. These socks do that and more! Available in a few colors and a few ankle heights, these socks indeed have individual toes. It is a little tricky to put the socks on. Unlike fingers, toes are not always straight or parallel. However, once on, the Toe Socks do a superb job wicking and/or absorbing moisture, and preventing friction between the toes. As someone with a neurological disease, I have constant pain and frequent inflammation and swelling. These socks perform magnificiently as a therapeutic device. They literally act as compression stockings -- starting at the toetips. For me, they fit well albeit snugly [but snugly helps in the compression feature]. They wash easily; I line-dry them. One minor caution. The manufacturer produces them in a color they call SAND. "Sand" as a color, could better be described as "wet sand" or light brown. They are not beige! I would heartily recommend this product for tradesmen, those who wear boots either vocationally or avocationally, athletes and folks like myself, impaired. If impaired, please consult your physician first, before using these socks.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Exactly what I was hoping they would be, February 16, 2011
By M. Guy
I'm a professional product photographer who recently took a studio job requiring me to stand and walk a minimum of eight and usually ten hours a day. I've always had wide feet and have experienced issues with corns and blisters around my toes from time to time in the past. With the new work, I found the problems to be back full force. I ordered one pair of Injini crew socks to try them out. I just got home from work, my feet feel great, and I ordered thirteen more pairs. That is how much I like these.

A few notes for people to understand them:

-They take a bit longer to put on than normal socks. You're supposed to put them over your forefoot first, work the fabric around your toes, then pull them the rest of the way onto your feet
-They fit fairly snugly. Make sure you don't have rough calluses or toe nails, or you stand a good chance of snagging them.
-They breathe VERY well, as would be expected of a high-grade synthetic wicking material
-Friction between your toes is tremendously alleviated. In my opinion, this is due to a combination of the slippery material of the socks and that the wicking material keeps your feet drier.

and, here's a big one:

-Everyone's toes and feet are shaped differently. You can't expect these to fit like a second skin, spray-painted onto your foot. I have very long toes. The the first three toes on each foot are close, but not quite long enough. The remaining two are just about right. It is unreasonable to expect these to perfectly on every person. Also, after you've worn them for a while, they settle well into place.

Again, I couldn't be happier. Buy one pair, try them for a day (not just for ten minutes), and you'll probably love them.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great Socks, July 15, 2009
By Squidkid's Mom (Chatt, TN)
I love the way this sock conforms to the shape of your toes, arch, heel, ankles - whole foot! I wear a ladies 8, and the men's small fit me perfectly. These socks are very supportive, no blisters on my heels, balls of feet or toes. Feet stay cool and dry. It is easier to keep going for a longer period of time when your feet are comfy. I now feel deprived if I have to wear other sport socks for my workouts.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great for Hiking, August 14, 2011
By Hiker/Cyclist (San Diego, CA)
I used these for the first time to climb Mt. San Jacinto (10,800 ft.). They were great and I didn't get any blisters, as usual. As others have written, they take more time to put on, and a little while to get used to, but not a big deal.

The only thing is next time, I'm going to order some black ones since the white ones show dirt too much. I used them in conjuction with Zensah Compression Sleeves which are also excellent.

2.0 out of 5 stars.  Just feels weird, August 14, 2011
By Jeff
After developing some nice blisters following a long run, these socks were recommended as a good solution. After all, if your toes don't rub together, you won't get blisters, right. Well, I suppose that's true. However, the socks felt really weird on my toes. Personally, I am not used to having sock material jammed between my toes. I should have thought more about that before buying the socks. The best part was taking them off after my run.

No blisters though! But I prefer to use Glide to reduce the friction. I will not be wearing these socks again.

The worst part was the shipping costs (somewhere around $6!)

5.0 out of 5 stars.  These socks are Wonderful!, July 7, 2011
By A. Ekren (Windsor, CO USA)
I purchased these socks to wear with my 5-finger hiking shoes. I wore them on a 8 mile hike then on an 11 mile hike in Rocky Mountain National Park so there was lots of steep up and down terrain. They were fabulous. My feet did not feel sweaty at all. The fabric is blissfully smooth. The socks did not bunch up at all in the toes or anywhere else. They are thin enough so there was still room for my toes without feeling cramped. Frankly, I cannot imagine a more wonderful, perfect sock to wear with my 5-finger shoes.

2.0 out of 5 stars.  Great concept, horrible quality, July 4, 2011
By gabopagan (Caguas, PR)
I bought a pair locally that lasted me less than 30 miles running before getting a hole in the big toe. Figured it may be a fluke so I bought a pair from Amazon. They lasted me just a 14 mile run. I keep mi nails well clipped. Its no fluke, these socks are crap quality. The concept is great but execution is piss poor. I will go back to putting zinc oxide between my toes to avoid blisters.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Great fit in my vibrams, January 25, 2012

Bought both pairs of my vibrams to fit my bare feet but needed some extra warmth. These socks fit snuggly in my vibrams. A bit pricey and did I really need them? Maybe not, but they are comfortable.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Perfect for use with Vibram 5 fingers!, December 27, 2011
By yellow22
I was skeptical at first but needed socks that would fit under my vibram 5 fingers. My feet were sweating and typical socks wouldn't work. These are just the right thickness so you don't feel like your wearing anything but they still wick the sweat. I plan on getting a few more pairs to wear with the shoes.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Toe socks, December 18, 2011
By UP (Sioux Falls, SD)
The socks are great. I wear only toe socks and this model fits me very well. Some of the other Injinji models are too short. The toes are not too tight and the socks keep my feet dry .
Very comfortable.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  I love these socks!, December 17, 2011
By Judith K. Sherman
I am crazy about these socks. Although the concept of toe gloves seems a little weird, these are the most comfortable socks that I have ever owned. It takes a little more time to put them on than for conventional socks, but it is time well-spent. These socks prevent my toes from rubbing together and blistering, and the material keeps my feet dry. Now that the weather has turned colder, I have been wearing them under higher socks so that my legs are protected. One note of caution is that these socks should be line-dried rather than tossed into the dryer. You slso have to match the pairs up since each sock is right or left foot specific. In spite of that, I love these socks!

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Works well as a hiking sock, November 19, 2011
By E. Turner
I bought the socks to use with my mid-high hiking boots. They work well, no hot spots, wick moisture well. I know some reviewers were not happy with the fact these were toe socks. I wear toe socks a lot, so it didn't bother me. However, I didn't find the fact that the socks had toes any great advantage. I didn't notice any wonderful "proper alignment" of my feet or any such. I think perhaps it will help me not develop sore spots where I sometimes have a toe nail dig into the toe next to it, but nothing more.

These are really quite comfortable. A bit warmer than standard tube socks and great for around the house. Still takes me aback when I glance down and the grandkids think they are hilarious. They also remind you when its time for a toenail trim.

These socks are exactly what I was looking for. My feet get irritated after working conecutive long days, and I used to get hot spots and would feel like I was going to get a blister. These socks really relieve my toes from all of that discomfort...wish I had em last year!

5.0 out of 5 stars.  I love these socks, September 5, 2011
By motheriowa
I have bought several pairs of these socks, some with coolmax, some with my favorite smart wool . All of them are great and I would recommend them to any one. They work very well with the five finger shoes, and also with regular shoes. At first I thought I would not be able to stand anything between my toes, but I soon found out that I actually preferred the wear . I wear a size 11 reg and the large size is perfect .

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Review of the Injinji Performance Crew Toe Socks, June 4, 2011
By Andy L.
They came in good time from the company, and were as expected. They are quite comfortable and feel good. They seem kind of thin, however, and I haven't worn them running yet. I am curious to see how long they last as the fabric is quite thin. I think it probably has to be thin in order to fit between the toes, however. I found nothing wrong with the product after the first few times wearing them around the house, and I do like the way they feel.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Totally comfortable, May 22, 2011
By L. Drake (Eugene, OR USA)
Fabric on these socks is soft and has just the right amount of stretch. I wear women's 8 1/2 - 9 wide shoes, and ordered the small size and they fit perfectly. They go inside my running shoes and clogs and are comfortable all day.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great product, May 16, 2011
By F. Bosak (Warren, OH USA)
These have been a source of interest to my family and friends. They think that these socks are pretty weird, but I don't care because they do their job. They keep my toes dry. They're not too thick or warm either. I'll definitely be buying more and I would recommend them to my friends. The ankle isn't very tight so these tend to slip down, but that's not a big deal.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Amazing socks for soccer, May 2, 2011
By sammjds
I play soccer 3-5 days & usually have a game on saturdays & sundays each week. So taking care of my feet is essential for me to play as much I as do. After each game I always feel blisters coming or some sort of pain on my feet/ toes. I bought 2 pairs of these & you can EASILY double up if you want to, some idiot said they were too thick but thats not the case at all if anything they are slighly thinner then generic socks. Anyways I used these socks in back to back soccer matches & my feet felt simply amazing.

For soccer players being comfortable yet having a great touch/ feel on the ball is super important. These socks were comfortable, kept my feet from sliding around in my cleats & gave me an super nice touch on the ball.

In order to wear these with my cleats I took my normal soccer socks & cut the bottoms off those. That way I was able to wear my Injinji socks & rolled my soccers over them.

By QchristinaQ (Long Island, NY)

By Gabriel C. Barros (Brazil)
pros:
+ warm

cons:
- have left and right socks, but it does not make them fit any better than my other socks that can be used on either feet. just give me more trouble each morning matching the pair
- no cotton. (it's all petroleum)

open for debate:
. silly red label

2.0 out of 5 stars.  Ill fitting and too loose!, February 8, 2011
By sarah (abilene, tx, usa)
I got these to wear with my vibrams since my feet would get super cold when running. I got the crew socks in order to add some ankle warmth.
I ordered xsm. The toe part and foot fit well, but the issue is with the crew part of the sock. It kept falling down my leg like a slouch sock, or an old sock that lost its stretchy. I had to constantly hike them up since bunched socks are irritating.

They fit well in the foot, and also work well with the vibrams. Overall though, the slouching and weird fit around the ankle/calf being too loose makes these rather unremarkable(especially for the price tag). They are really like any average toe sock. I did not notice or see much difference when i wore these and a pair of 3 dollar toe socks. There is not much performance in these socks and i feel kind of cheated. I want to try the longer versions, but am worried about the looseness being an issue.

If you are looking for socks to wear with vibrams try the toeless style sock. I have a few and they have been wonderful.

By iPhone lvr (Somewhere)
These socks r very xpensive not just amazon everywhere but after I purchased a few pair on amazon a week or two l8r they were on here for around $6 & they r usually around 11/14. They r VERY COMFORTAble.if u r borderline on the size I'd go ahead & get the next size up I made that mistake and the next time I lurchased the bigger size & they r more comfortable. They go well with the VIBRAM FIVE FINGERS ALSO. beware of the fakes there's alot of different brands of these socks on the market and so far I've found none the quality of injinji the others are very thin. 4 stars for the high price. Quality 5 stars

I ordered seven pairs of these socks. They hold up very well, and are very comfortable. I've had them for about a year. No holes or anything, and I wear a pair everyday. The toes are stitched well, and fit well. Good choice for casual toe socks if you like them.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  A small miracle, November 7, 2010

I walk a lot and in the past several years walking has become painful because my toes are slipping under each other and rubbing. If I had a lot of money I'd toss all my old socks and buy nothing but injinji toe socks. They're everything. Quality construction, long lasting, and they keep my toes from rubbing together, which a couple of them do for some reason.

I can't recommend them highly enough.

These toe socks fit my shoe-size 7.5 feet perfectly. They are attractive, soft and comfortable, and easy to put on. Not too thick, not too thin - feel like normal socks. They keep my feet warm in my sandals in cool weather. Very fast delivery. If the shipping weren't so high, I'd buy several more pair (I have 3 pair).

3.0 out of 5 stars.  Not "Sand", September 13, 2010
By Flgtr95 (Memphis, TN)
I use the low-cut/ankle versions to run in and love them. I was really looking forward to these Injinji socks because they were "sand" colored and appeared wearable for my uniform which requires khaki socks. These socks are not what I would consider "sand" colored, but rather grayish-green.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  These socks feel great and very comfortable., April 20, 2012
By CMR (CA)
I've been looking for a nice pair of these for a while to wear with my Vibram Five Fingers for light hiking. I have previously been using a thicker sock from a trip to Japan that have been nice for the added comfort but are pretty think and don't have a lot of breath-ability.

I tried these on when they came and they feel great, I was surprised how light they feel but I've only had the thicker ones of my own to compare them too. They seem sturdy enough and felt comfortable on all my toes. I am around a size 12.5 shoe, but usually wear a 13. Got the large size as they ranged from 11 - 13 and it fits fine. Only if you were 14 would I suggest the XL.

Hopefully I can update this after a few short hikes.

These socks and all Injinji toe socks feel great and do their job keeping my toes from rubbing. I wish they were more durable. I am finding that these socks are getting thin in spots and generally don't wear well. But I still think they are great for your feet if you walk or run hard like me. My toes thank you:)

Product was just as advertized. Extremely comfortable. Washes well with no shrinkage, unraveling, or loss of shape. Would recommend this product without hesitation.

2.0 out of 5 stars.  ok but not great, March 16, 2012

Don't be deceived by the picture, these are low crew socks not up the calf as pictured.
They are comfortable but the seam at the top band split open the second time I put them on.
I will look for a different pair next time.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Amazing, February 24, 2012

I have suffered with sweaty feet for years. What I really hate is the sensation of my slimy toes rubbing together. As soon as I put these babies on, I was in heaven. I wish they weren't so expensive.

3.0 out of 5 stars.  ok, February 21, 2011
By Gabriel C. Barros (Brazil)
pros:
+ warm

cons:
- have left and right socks, but it does not make them fit any better than my other socks that can be used on either feet. just give me more trouble each morning matching the pair
- no cotton. (it's all petroleum)

open for debate:
. silly red label
