5.0 out of 5 stars.  No more blisters, April 15, 2008
By Lady Ultrarunner (Houston, Texas)
Don't tape each toe - just wear injinji socks - they are the best for long distance runs! No blisters between toes anymore!

4.0 out of 5 stars.  awkwardly comfortable, November 29, 2008
By NcCfsAdvisor (NC, USA)
Recenlty saw these socks on Amazon and since I had never heard of such a concept, I figured I'd read a couple reviews, do a little online researching and give'em a whirl.

They are AWESOME!!! Just received them this morning and immediately tried them out - They certainly have a unique feel, since I'm not normally accustomed to having something between my toes- but I quickly got use to them after about 30-45 mintues of wear. They are extremely comfortable and after being on for about a hour or so I actually had forgotten that my toes now had their own little separate compartments to rest in.

I travel extensively (middle east, southeast asia, south america, U.S. East coast) and I have no doubt these socks will wear extremely well - curently they're getting their initiation in the middle east; I spend a lot of time on my feet in a variety of shoe styles and paticipating in everything from running to walking to jumping to driving so I'm looking forward to seeing how they wear over time.

Initial thoughts:

Takes a little longer to put on then normal socks - but well worth the extra time

Very soft and comfortable on the feet and toes

a little extra time in removing them as well since you have to pull the little toes back out - but once again, well worth the effort thus far.

I will definitely update this review in about 3-4 months to let everyone know how they're holding up

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Complex but Comfy, February 7, 2011
By Adam L. Rogers
They are foot specific so you have to pay attention when you put your socks on in the morning :(. Couple them with a pair of KSO treks and you have walking bliss. They are not as thick as I would have liked (a wee thinner than boot socks) but they are much better than my pair of anke-height lightweights which feel like dress socks.

I would give them five stars if they would put the corresponding foot letter on the tag as well. its petty, but for socks this expensive your allowed to be petty.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  High end socks, June 26, 2010
By knife's edge (N.C. by way of TX)
These are mostly nuwool, a material thats decent at absorbing the water from the skin (poor evaporation of moisture though, can lead to soggy socks), the material is great at retaining heat, and most importantly it is able to wick moisture from the skin (which is what you want when exercising); producing less moisture at the skin surface lowers chance of blistering (opposed to cotton socks). For cold weather exercising this material is ideal, but if you must go cheaper on winter socks than these offered here get acrylic based, depending on manufacturer's formula an excellent wool substitute. Polyester or polypropylene fabric will do also.

These socks should come midway between your ankle and calve muscle.

2.0 out of 5 stars.  Caused soreness in between all my toes, May 18, 2010
By Elisabeth
Have you ever worn thong sandals and by the end of the day, the curved space between your big toe and second toe felt sore from being pulled on? I felt that same soreness while wearing these socks, too, except the soreness was between ALL my toes.
Normally a clothing item that causes discomfort would warrant a one star rating, however, since this is a very good quality sock, I gave it a two star rating instead. What I appreciated about this sock was that it stayed up all day. It's really annoying when socks crawl down during the day and I have to keep pulling them back up...and so I was glad I didn't have to deal with that annoyance in addition to toe soreness.
Overall, I thought this was a good idea in theory, but not so much in practice, so I'll be returning back to regular style socks.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Get One Size Bigger, September 3, 2011
By The secret formula to life i.. (Santa Barbara, CA)
I love toe socks, you don't know what you are missing if you haven't ever tried them. This is the best quality brand I have found so far. I find that toe sock sizes are tighter than normal socks, like a woman's stockings are. This might be what you want depending on the shoes what you are trying to do, but if the socks are tight, they wear out very quickly. The looser the sock, the more fabric per square inch.

My foot size is 11.5 and in this brand, the sizing info says Large = 11 - 13.5 and X-Large = 14+. I order X-Large! that is at least 2.5 over my size. The socks fit perfect with out the tight stretch and go much higher on my leg (which I like). The extra size does add about a quarter inch in the toes, but it doesn't effect wearing my vibram five fingers shoes or normal shoes. Plus, most of the time, the price is the same, so you basically get more sock for the same price!

In the photo, the models foot has much larger sock, that is why it is not stretched and looks so nice!

The great feature about to socks is they keep the skin between your toes from touching, from creating 8 non deodorized arm pits on your feet! Toe socks put two pieces of fabric between each toe grove! Also, to get more mileage from these socks, I wear a normal pair of socks over my toe socks when I am not wearing my Vibram's or if I just want to slide around the house in socks. I also like bit of talc powder inside the 2nd pair of socks.

Hope that helps, please let me know what works for you. :)

By M. Merriken (Jarrettsville, MD)

Came really fast, not too hard to get on, take a moment or two to get used to, comfy , felt better than I was thinking they might. Keep your toes warm, not bulky at all. I love them!A bit pricey.

2.0 out of 5 stars.  Didn't last long at all, May 13, 2011
By WolfsRat
We bought these for my husband because he constantly gets blisters from walking all day. The thin material made them comfortable, but the ball of the sock had worn completely through after the first week. For the price paid for these, a week just isnt long enough. I will be looking for a thicker version of them for him. He liked the in-between toe protection, though, which completely boggles my mind as I can't stand things in between my toes, but to each their own.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  wow I'm surprised, April 17, 2011
By mike (Hoquiam, WA United States)
I've been looking all over the net (spending many hours) for some perfect socks that will perform under extreme test while I hike my extensive 2 week hikes over some of the most rugged terrain in NW Olympic National forest, I start out at about 3000 ft elevation and work my way within a 3 mile distance to about 6000 feet, so when I start my hike the heat can be very intense as to heat and modest humidity (about 80-90F), then when I reach the mountain peaks it can get extremely chilly at night (for this area at least)(about 30-20F). these socks perform soo awesome. when its hot your toes breath perfectly and stay cool in your hiking shoes and when its cold your feet stay especially warm. the thickness of these is about a 260 weight icebreaker, not too thin not too thick (yet more durable) but if you want even more anti-friction with these (as two sock layers always provide more anti-friction for your feet)and yet keep the coolness and the warm capabilities I recommend buying some G.I. polypropylene socks too, they are about the same thickness and work great, especially as added resistance against cold, and overall this combination will especially please those who want to feel that they have on a normal thickness of padding for their feet. Thats my review of these surprisingly good socks and I hope it helps

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Injinji toe socks, March 11, 2011
By KW (KS USA)
These socks are amazing. I wish they were a bit higher on the leg, but they are well built. I have some trouble with overlapping toes. My choices seem to be surgery or deal with it. I've worn these socks for about 5 weeks and am having almost no pain that I've had for the last 4 or 5 years. They take a little getting used to and everyone that sees them has some sort of comment, but I am amazed at the comfort, durability, wicking action, etc. I will show them to my podiatrist, if I ever need to visit him again.

3.0 out of 5 stars.  Kind of long in the toes but do the job (all feet different), January 11, 2011
By Jeff T. (Chicago, IL)
Short for a "Crew" sock. They don't go high enough for me to wear them with my 6 inch high boots.
I have a size 7 to 7.5 shoe size and buy the smalls.
Toe size is longer than the Performance Micro's which were spot on.
The crew and the over the calf work socks have added length to the toes but not enough to return them.
I wish they would standardize the toe sizes across all their models.
They keep the toes from mashing against each other which can causes sweat.
They also do a great job of whisking the moisture away from the foot.

2.0 out of 5 stars.  Darned socks . . ., February 6, 2010
By deVN (White Plains, NY)
I ordered these to wear with Five Finger toe shoes but was dismayed to find out that within a couple of weeks, the seams tore and had to be darned.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Comfy, May 27, 2010
By E. Todd
These are well made toesocks! The seams appear strongly stitched together. The neck holds well to your leg so they don't slide off while wearing them (as opposed to the shorter style). However after a few washings I've noticed they're getting quite fuzzy, so I'm not certain the fabric will hold up well long-term, hence -1 star. Perhaps one solution to this problem would be washing them by hand.

If you're looking for toe-socks and prefer "crew-length style" AKA regular socks, get these.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  OMGosh! How comfortable!, February 6, 2010
By Alan W. Williford
Someone at the gym wears these and I had to ask about them, because like most people, I thought the where silly. WAS I EVER WRONG! I run around barefoot all the time, little did I know that my traditional closed toe socks where making me walk funny with shoes on, I was curling my toes. Wearing this style is like walking barefoot. I love wearing them and you might to... like all things new and different, get a couple of pair and try them. They can be difficult to get on, especially if your in a hurry, but WOW, no more sweaty feet, I just can't say enough nice things about these... I have not tried other brands yet and not sure I will because these work and work great.

I was a bit amprehensive the first time I was someplace I had to go around without shoes on... but I was ready to convert the world or at least those who asked... I got a few snickers from the other men, but when one guy asked, he is now a fellow toe sock wearer!

Verify your size. I have long feet, 14 in most cases, some of the low cut socks are a little big for me... but loose fitting is better so I'm told.

Enjoy!

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Great for dancing on wood floors, but..., February 25, 2009
By areohbeeceeohelee (San Francisco, CA USA)
Great for dancing on wood floors, because they stay put on your feet, but still slide a bit on the floor, but for just lounging around or in shoes, the extra material between my toes drives me crazy.
