Book appears to have to be strong in detail and content. I would recommend at this time.

Very good, February 18, 2013

This is probably the best textbook on general autopsy methods currently in print. The illustrations are very good and the text is easy to follow. The described methods of evisceration are divided between the so called Virchow and Letulle methods. Though neither of these are actually the techniques that Virchow or Letulle actually did in their lifetimes. So the text silently incorporates modern advancements to classic autopsy procedures. The historic chapter is very nice but contains errors (but those are far too esoteric to describe here). The atlas section is somewhat wanting. Although the entities it contains are well photographed and described, it is entirely too brief to be of much use. It should either be greatly expanded, or omitted entirely. I recommend this book to all pathologists, residents, pathogist's assistants, and dieners.

A little bit disappointed, this book has good pictures but the volume and content are insufficient for routine practice, especially considering the price of this textbook. It should be corrected in the next edition to add more topics.

This is arealy very good orgnized book with a nice atlas with autopsy photography and radiology covering adult and pediatrc pathology, which also include an appendix with many tables of growth assessment which was very helpfull. I think it include almost all what you need to know about basics of postmortem examnation.
