This is an old product. We've used it in my house for add long add I can remember. A small dah of the product on a cold sore, it hurtd, but you will see results right away. Fresh and concentrated. Hard to find in the pharmacies.

Firewater

Most people have probably never heard of Astring-O-Sol. When I was young, my mother would buy it from the local store. Today, none of our local stores carry it, although it can be ordered. It is sold to be diluted and used as a mouthwash. My sons and grandchildren call it "firewater" because we use it straight for bites, minor rashes, minor injuries, and diluted as a sore-throat gargle. It should probably never be used straight for major problems as it is very strong. But it does work. Never had an infection after using it, and injuries healed quickly. I would caution that used these ways is at your own discretion, and should be done with care. How does it work diluted as a mouthwash? I guess OK, but I rarely use it that way.
