After reading all the reviews and looking into the effects of the essential oils in this tooth past, I was hoping this would help with bleeding gums and gingivitis. I use this religiously twice a day with the Thieves mouth wash for over a month and it unfortunately didn't make any difference for me.

I have been a user of Thieves Toothpaste for some time now. I have found that the essential oils used help kill bacteria. I have also tried the other brand of natural toothpaste that is primarily salt and I am back to using Thieves. I find that if I have a slight toothache, it helps kill the bacteria and the pain goes away. I read other reviews where people use it as a deodorant, but I am good with using it only as my toothpaste.

I just began using this, so it remains to be seen what my dentist's judgement on this product is, but I can tell you that the flavor is nicer than many similar products I've tried. I am anxious to see if it keeps my gums healthier.
