I paid full price for this product and didnt like it nearly as much as those who got it for next-to-nothing in exchange for a review. But I'm sure that's just a coincidence, riiiight?
This product is recommended, by the manufacturer, for use by babies and toddlers. I do take good care of my son's teeth, having suffered from dental problems my whole life and wanting to spare him the pain and expense of dental issues as he gets older. I brush his with an electric toothbrush and limit his sugary drinks and sweets. But I'm not going to deny him everything, and there are times, like at the checkout line at Trader Joe's, where a cashier will offer him a sucker, or some similar situation when we're out and about and it isn't feasible, realistic, nor appealing to run him to a public restroom and brush his teeth immediately afterwards.
I thought these xylitol teeth wipes would be perfect to keep in the car so I could wipe off his teeth in such a situation. They're not cheap, but I told myself they were cheaper than a cavity or something. Oh, wishful thinking!
They only work if your little angel lets you use them thoroughly. There is no "Bubblegum Flavor" in my wipes, whatsoever, despite the label on the packaging. It tastes slightly like something, but it's not a kid-friendly 'flavor'. One wipe is about the same color and size of a toilet paper square. Good luck convincing your child that allowing you to stick this in their mouth, on top of your finger, is great idea. If you're using this on a toddler, you'll probably need more than one because it isn't something that comes naturally to them, to put it mildly. When you go to pull one out, expect at least two to come out of the package. If you can catch the extra(s) before they hit the ground, good luck stuffing them back into the package and 'sealing' the plastic flap tightly enough to keep the remaining wipes from drying out until next time (as if!). Are we having fun yet? Sure, you can put them in a ziploc bag, but for the price of these you would expect them to come in a more thoughtfully designed bag, especially for parents of babies and toddlers (are we not already suffering enough?).
My son is a quiet, easygoing little guy, but he won't let me near him with these things, or anything that resembles them.The other day, I opened a Wet-Nap, the little single-packaged moistened napkins used by travelers or to-go places, to clean my hands, and my son started yelling "No,no,no!"
Really, I'd rather brush his teeth while he's sleeping than mess with these things again.

Perfect for the car, August 10, 2016

These are great for on the go. That's the only time I have had to use them because we use a tooth brush at home. But nonetheless, a great product.
