there are quite a few good ideas in this book, March 01, 2016

there are quite a few good ideas in this book. I was surprised however when he started mentioning benchmarks and numbers my practice already way surpasses all of them and I don't feel like we aren anything special. so I discounted much of what he said thinking we're already past that....... now what?
if you have a practice that does not collect 100,000 a month this book would be good for you if you're already past that this is not the book

A pretty good read. Not the best, but still worth 4 stars., August 03, 2015

A pretty good book. Better than many other dental books out there. A lot of psychobabble, but that is expected with a coaching, self-help, mentoring, etc. book. Some good ideas in here. Some parts of the book do get a little redundant.

Absolutely Terrible; Meaningless Self-Help Babble, June 14, 2015
By Matthew Windham Hillis

I have no idea what book the other reviewers read, because this book is terrible. It is full of absolutely pointless sloganeering and clichés. His "advice" is nothing but soaring feel-good rhetoric that is utterly devoid of any real content or concrete suggestions. His points are endlessly repetitive--he can take one thought about something--say "passion"-- and spend an entire paragraph filled with sentences beginning "Passion is..." over and over. It's completely pointless.
As if that's not bad enough, half of his "advice" is just finding ways to talk about how awesome his consulting business is, and how it will solve all your problems: self-marketing in disguise. It's nauseating. Maybe he has the interpersonal skills to "wow" an audience while he's speaking live, but this book is all sizzle and no steak.
This book is nothing but feel-good, meaningless self-help psycho-babble. Don't waste your money or your time. I'd give it zero stars if that were possible.
