They've gone and changed an absolutely perfect product to something less perfect for me, but still very good. I just like the previous softer formula better. I carry mine in my purse, so melting in my pocket isn't usually an issue as it is for other reviewers. It was longer lasting before they changed the formula. I think they need two products to satisfy the consumers.
When I first received it and tried it I was livid. I was going to writes scathing 1-star review. It was like their other lip balms, hard and didn't last ten minutes. But that must have been unusual, like the machine put more wax in at the end or something, because it got better. The next container I opened was a lot better. Still not what it was before and will not last as long under lipstick. But it's the best reasonably priced lip balm I know of, and I've tried all the big commercial ones. This is by far the best of those.

I like this a lot, but it might be almost TOO soft - feels like a ton comes off the tube when I use it, almost in clumps sometimes. If you're careful you can put on a light coat, but you have to remember to do so. It's not necessarily a bad thing, just different than any other lip balm I use, so takes some adjusting.

My go-to lip balm

During the winter (oh who am I kidding, all seasons of the year), I find this to be my go-to lip balm to keep my lips nice and soft. I put it on mostly right as I'm going to bed as part of my nightly routine and it stays on my lips throughout the night, keeping things soft and smooth. It does last a relatively long time, even with how much I use it. It's the only and best lip balm I've had. I've tried the honey kind, the light blue moisture one, and the olive oil + lemon ones and they don't hold a candle to this one. It's the best. The honey one doesn't moisturize much, the light blue one doesn't stay on the lips very long, and the olive oil one smells funky after a while and tastes gross. If you find your lips cracking and peeling in these horrible winter months, get yourself some of this!
**Tip: When you get to the end of the tube and the product has flattened out so it seems you can't swipe any more on your lips, I suggest digging it out so you don't let any product go to waste. I use the back of my nail to scoop it out and rub it onto my lips (can also use a little spatula to do this).
