I've been wanting to lose some weight, but every afternoon I get really hungry. A few nuts, a diet bar, a bottle of water does NOT cut it for me. What helps is having a few sticks of sugar free gum to chew. Something about chewing for ten minutes takes away the hunger and lets me get back to my desk job, and the "<5 calories" per stick means I've just saved 100 or more calories on even a dieter's snack that doesn't satisfy (if anything, they just make me hungrier!). It's about 15 pounds of steady weight loss over the past three months doing nothing but replacing afternoon snacking with some Trident gum chewing, and no hunger pangs at all. Easy and painless lifestyle modification!

Got it today. I'm so disappointed because the gum is old, not fresh. It's dried out and the package is old. I'm so bummed.

The flavor starts off strong for a few minutes and dies down afterwards. The flavor will last about 20 minutes before it's all gone but that's the perfect amount of time that you should be chewing a single piece of gum. This is very fruity tasting. The gum is soft so it will melt if left in the heat or even in your pocket for too long.
