For whatever reason, this just fails to do as good a job as ACT did, as I had some gum problems after I made the switch that went away as soon as I switched back to ACT. Too bad because I'd really love a more natural dye-free product. Keep trying.

I'm not a fan of most mint flavors, especially the ones that are in toothpastes and mouthwash. Been trying for a couple of years to find an alternative. I can barely taste the mint flavor in this and the citrus is only slightly stronger. I don't love it, but it's the one I prefer out of what I've tried so far. Also, it's far better than the kids stuff that's supposed to be bubblegum or berry flavor.

I bought this for the kids to use. They found it to be less minty than they liked, but I like it because it doesn't burn my mouth like the regular ACT mouth wash that I can barely swish for a whole minute with. The taste has grown on my kids--once they started thinking of it more as fruity rather than minty. Note--my kids get no regular sugar only reduced amounts of agave or date sugar on rare occasions, so their taste buds are trained to for less sweetness.

Great to have a decent-tasting fluoride rinse, alcohol free, and with ingredients I can understand. Not just for children -- my dental hygienist recommended I use a non-alcohol fluoride rinse, and this is MUCH better than anything else I tried.

agree with the "horrid" taste reviews ... my son hated it. Although with the best of intentions to switch to a "healthier" alternative - I literally poured this entire (very expensive) product down the drain (as the return period had so conveniently expired). Love Tom's of Maine - but this is not one of their better products ... I even tried myself if I could salvage for my own purposes. No way ... ewww.
