Not much of an orange-mango taste

I hate mint toothpaste, so I've been looking for an alternative. Gave this a try, but it had very little orange-mango taste, so I'm still looking. Was this review helpful to you?

This toothpaste tastes so very strange. I can't put my finger on it but it leaves a very bad taste in my mouth. It's very much an orange flavored paste but there's a bitterness in it too. Also the consistency is really strange. It's a gel not a paste, which really isn't a big deal if it weren't for the funky aftertaste. I hate mint toothpaste. It makes my mouth burn and it's been very hard to find a toothpaste that doesn't contain mint. I thought this was the perfect solution. I didn't even mind paying $10 for it if it wasn't for the very hard to describe aftertaste. I will use the whole tube. After all, I paid a lot for it so I don't want to waste it. But I won't buy it again. I will continue my search for a mintless toothpaste. I already have Marvis ginger mint, which is very strong, and Jasmine Mint, which is less so but it tastes weird (maybe I just don't like jasmine, I prefer it in perfume not to taste it, thank you). I should have known these two options would be too strong because they both have mint. However, I paid about $11 for each tube and my hubby hates both of them so I have no choice but to use them up. $30 is a lot to pay for toothpaste. And I still haven't found my holy grail. I will continue to search for something suitable. I wish there was a cinnamon flavored tube out there somewhere. One without mint. If you also cannot tolerate mint toothpaste, this Tom's orange/mango may work fine for you. It just doesn't taste right to me (my better half doesn't think it's any good either). So I'm stuck with $30 of toothpaste that I can't stand. I don't know where else to search. I don't hate this toothpaste, hence the 2 stars. It just doesn't taste very good, that's all. This is awesome! I really dislike the "sting" of mint-y toothpaste. This is the most enjoyable, least irritating toothpaste ever. I will continue to buy. Was this review helpful to you?
