Coral White Fluoride Free Toothpaste Mint 6oz
Coral Inc

Product Description:
The structure of tooth enamel is a fine matrix of tubules conveying nutrients from the outside to the inside of the tooth. Brushing your teeth with CoralWhite not only helps to prevent cavities by raising the pH (alkalinity) of your saliva, whitens teeth, and freshens breath but because of the unique whole food mineral complex from Coral White's Coral Calcium, it may help to re-mineralize the enamel. Combining hydrogen peroxide for its gentle whitening effect, the essence of Spearmint and Peppermint oils makes what we think as the perfect toothpaste! Remember in this toothpaste there is no fluoride and no sodium lauryl sulfate!

5.0 out of 5 stars  FIXED TRANSLUCENT TEETH!
By Byzantium21 on November 30, -0001
My teeth, although lovely and straight - have a bit of a transparency problem brought on as a repercussion to my Celiac Disease. I never thought that the damage could be undone, but only after a few weeks of use I have noticed a HUGE difference in my smile. Not only is the transparency disappearing, but my teeth actually FEEL denser using this product. Not to mention, they've whitened them better than any toothpaste I've ever used. A wonderful alternative to the conventional toothpastes that only end up stripping your teeth. This product is amazing!

5.0 out of 5 stars  Best Toothpaste I have Tried
By Amarithe on November 30, -0001
I cannot say how much I love this toothpaste. I have always had a problem with bleeding gums, and having Celiac Disease doesn't really help keep my teeth healthy. With Celiac Disease I have had to be much more health conscious and started staying away from fluoride. That, and my mouth was never healthy on regular toothpaste, no matter how much I brushed or flossed. I have tried Jasons, and Toms, and Earthpaste (Wintergreen flavor is the best). I stopped using Jasons and Toms when I realized that they both contain Glycerine which coats your teeth and prevents them from absorbing beneficial minerals (re-mineralizing). So then I tried Earthpaste, which was actually better than either of them. My breath smelled better, but my gums were still bleeding.

Since starting Coral White my gums have stopped bleeding and my teeth feel clean all day. It is amazing. I use to run my tongue over my teeth at the end of the day and I could feel the plaque sticking to them. I don't get that feeling anymore. I ran out of Coral White and had to use a left-over tube of Earthpaste and my gums started bleeding again after a week. I threw the tube out and bought another Coral White. I then bought several more for my mom and my sister to try it (they also have Celiac). I am so glad I found this toothpaste.

The consistency and flavor is pretty nice too. It's not gritty (I don't feel like I am apply sandpaper to my teeth) and the flavor is light and fresh. I will never use another toothpaste again if I can get away with it!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars  works great
By Befragt on November 30, -0001
I have to say it appears that this stuff works. I started using it because I had some sensitivity in my teeth. I had previously used Sensodyne ProNamel and other such concoctions, but after some bad dentist visits I undertook to learn more about fluoride, oral probiotics, etc. I landed on this toothpaste because the ingredients are generally healthy (xylitol, calcium, hydrogen peroxide, various herbs, no fluoride, no glycerine), and because I needed to re-mineralize my teeth. I've been using for a few months, and I've realized that my teeth aren't sensitive anymore. I can't say I'm re-growing enamel, but I certainly notice the lack of aches and pains, and my teeth are whiter and smoother than they've been in years.

I'd note that this stuff has the same texture as other toothpastes, and it tastes great. So unlike some other dental products I've tried, I don't feel like brushing is a chore - it's the same as it's always been, albeit without fluoride.

In the interest of full disclosure, I've also started taking Dr. Williams' Oral Probiotics, and I also use TheraNeem Tooth and Gum Powder (contains neem, probiotics, vitamin D and calcium, xylitol, etc.). As a group, I believe they're helping as well. Regardless, it's hard to fault the results, and Coral White is certainly part of my dental regimen right now.

At $8.00/tube, this is a bit more expensive than traditional toothpaste, but do the research. I'm convinced it's worth the money.

FOLLOW-UP: November 18, 2014

So I had a nice visit at the dentist's last week. The shortest visit I can ever remember having - there was nothing for the hygienist to do - she sort of made a half-hearted effort and then called the dentist. The dentist, who usually spends his time chastising me for not brushing and flossing, sort of poked around, said nothing, and sent me on my way. Previous dental visits were about 1.5 hours long, or longer - this took all of 30 minutes, and that counts wait time prior to seeing anyone.

Did the dentist rave about my teeth? No, he said nothing. But my last visit he groused about stains, (alleged) poor brushing and flossing, despite me using the fluoride toothpaste he recommended, flossing 2X/day, using a water pik, etc. This time he said zilch, nada, nothing, and I was in and out in record time, and to be honest, I'm spending less time brushing and flossing than before. That says a lot in and of itself.

To be clear, I've changed a lot about my oral care - I use Theraneem tooth powder Theraneem Neem Tooth & Gum Powder, cinnamon, 40g, followed by Coral toothpaste Coral White Toothpaste Mint Flavor 6 oz, and before bed I suck on a probiotic lozenge Dr. David Williams' Probiotic Advantage Oral Sinus, 50 Lozenges (50-Day Supply). Given the results, I don't plan on changing anything.

At the end of the day, every morning I wake up and there's no coat on my tongue. My teeth feel slippery-fresh, and they're whiter than they have been in years (and still improving). Who am I to argue with success?

4.0 out of 5 stars  Not Like "Tooth Soap"
By W. WOOD on November 30, -0001
Update 01/10/2013:

I still feel that Coral White is a good toothpaste, but it's just a little too thin for my liking. I use an electric toothbrush with a small head and it's extremely hard to get enough of this toothpaste on the brush to feel effective. I will be looking for another Fluoride and Glycerin free brand. If this product was a little thicker it would be perfect in my opinion.

Original Review 09/30/2012:

I've tried one other product that claimed to be Glycerin and Flouride free but that was a horrible experience because it tasted soapy. After a little more research I found Coral White Mint, 6 oz Toothpaste. On the first use, this product proved to be better than the last brand I tried. This product has the consistantcy of pancake syrup rather than the paste texture of other toothpastes. As a result you can use only small amounts on your brush or it runs off. Coral White tasts minty but it's not overwhelming like some of the more commonly known and recognized toothpastes on the market. After brushing with Coral White, my mouth feels clean with a very slight minty flavor. This appears overall to be a good alternative for Flouride and Glycerin based toothpastes.

Coral White claims to be the "World's Only Natural Toothpaste Formulated with Ionic Coral Minerals (calcium) from Above the Sea". It also claims the following:

No Flouride
No Synthetic Colors
No Synthetic Flavors
No Synthetic Preservatives
No Sodium Lauryl Sulfate
Whitens Teeth
Freshens Breath
No Glyserin
Gluten Free

The Ingredients lists the following: Calcium Carbonate (Coral Calcium), Stevia (Stevia Rebaudiana) Leaf Extract, Xylitol, Hydrogen Peroxide, Golden Seal (Hydrastis Canadensis) Extract, Gingko (Gingko Biloba), Ginseng (Panax Ginseng) Root Extract, Echinacea (Echinacea Angustifolia) Extract, Mentha Viridis (Spearmint) Leaf Oil, Sorbitol, Aqua (Purified Water) Hydrated Silica, Sodium Cocoyl Glutamate, Sodium Magnesium Silicate, Cellulose Gum

5.0 out of 5 stars  Please always carry this one - a must have
By Stephanie on November 30, -0001
This is a reorder as this is a must have in my bathroom cabinet. I love this toothpaste. It is natural (not toxic which I refuse to use), gentle, cleanses well and brightens my teeth. It does not foam up, but that is okay. When I need a gentle brightening toothpaste, I reach for this. I think my teeth feel stronger from using this. I use many natural toothpastes and will always have this one in stock. I especially love it in the morning and then reach for Uncle Harry's mouthwash for the extra punch if I need it. Like the other reviews, I am disappointed they put glycerin in this, however, I will still buy this because it is better than most others on the market. Almost all "natural" toothpastes have one or two ingredients I wish wouldn't be in there, but I still support the best ones on the market. I hope I can continue to find this. This still mineralizes my teeth. I can feel the strengthening.

5.0 out of 5 stars  Helped Heal A ROOT INFECTION
By Jonathan Browne on November 30, -0001
I used this and the book Cure Tooth Decay to help me heal a root infection. As well as an ionic toothbrush.

Use this with an ionic toothbrush and avoid any foods with phytic acid in them (replace your bread with sourdough bread) as well as never eat refined sugar, and you may be able to do the supposedly impossible of healing a root infection and avoiding a canal/tooth extraction.

Oh and also try emmi-dent.
