It works for my essix (clear) retainer

I don't use these every day, maybe 3-4 times a week is good enough, so it'll last longer than 3 months. I'm so surprised how they don't have any products in stores directed towards retainer cleaning! Tons of people get braces and then have to wear retainers (and you have to wear them for life) so why don't they have anything like this (besides denture cleaner) in a store?
My clear essix retainers I got off after braces can smell SO bad after 2-3 days. I used this stuff and it does the job quickly and thoroughly. They smell like nothing after using one these tablets. Great product. Wish it was a little cheaper, though, you are getting a lot of tablets at once.

I was very worried about possible allergic reactions to this product but after spending over $300 on a new set of retainers I wanted to keep them as clean as possible right from the get go. I have used Retainer Brite for 3-4 weeks now with no issues.
After my retainers have soaked I immediately rinse them off for about 30 seconds and let them air dry all day before putting them in at night.
As my retainers age I'll update my review to see if they help prolong the amount of time before white residue develops since I never used this product on my other retainers.

Simply the best retainer cleaner on the market

This product rocks. I've used other retainer cleaners, but this one is by far the best. It turns clear when it's done, so there's no guesswork, and it leaves my retainer completely clear and with absolutely no odor. When I bought it, I had gone a few months without any retainer cleaner (I know, ew, but I couldn't find it at any stores, and brushing it worked okay... for a while!). Anyway, my retainer was dirty- completely cloudy, odor was... Not nice, and it was generally something I didn't want to put in my mouth. Plopped it into the Retainer Brite without any preparation and 15 minutes later, it came out looking brand new- no odor at all and totally clear. CANNOT recommend this product enough.

I just got my braces off not that long ago and i immedialtley was hating how rigorous you had to scrub the clear retainers with a toothbrush. I was really skeptical about using a chemical to soak them in and then stick them back into my mouth. I was also nervous this product wouldnt clean them as good as i could. I am so happy to report that this is soooooo much easier to use and its just as good as when i clean them. Every now and then i still scrub them with my toothbrush for the really deep groves in my retainers where things sometimes just get stuck, but i mainly just use this. I simply get some hot tap water (not boiling hot) put one tablet in and pop my retainers in the glass with it. I usually eat my breakfast and then brush my teeth and by that time the blue color is at the top signalling its done cleaning, then i rinse my retainers three times and ive never tasted any of the chemicals. I would buy this again and again. I plan to continue using it also :)

Great For Soaking a Mouth Guard

Used to clean a mouth guard at night. They quickly dissolve and don't leave a funky taste on the mouth guard after soaking. I sometimes leave mine in during the day until I'm ready to use the mouth guard again at night. My mouth guard is clear and these haven't affected the coloring in any negative way yet. I can only imagine they live up to the claim of 99.9% of anti-bacteria removal.

I've had a clear retainer for 8 years and used various cleaning tablets. It's disgusting but over time my retainer became yellow and cloudy. With daily cleaning using Brite, I'm able to keep my retainer much closer to clear. I used it every day and scrubbed with a soft brush to get the cloudiness to go away. But it did! My retainer looks like it did only a year after wearing it. It'll never be perfectly clear but at least it's not disgusting!
