Product Description:
What we left out of Earthpaste is just as important as what we put in. Earthpaste’s ingredients are all natural and from the Earth. No glycerin, no fluoride, no foaming agents, no artificial coloring. Earthpaste is simple: water, Redmond Clay, Real Salt, xylitol, and essential oils.

Redmond Clay — Food Grade Redmond Clay is a polishing cleanser that has been used for centuries to promote digestive health. Redmond Clay’s high pH helps counteract acidic levels in the mouth where cavities are formed.

Purified water — Purified water naturally hydrates the clay into a creamy paste.

Natural xylitol — We use xylitol from non-gmo birch and corn to help give Earthpaste its yummy flavor and to promote healthy teeth. Xylitol helps maintain a neutral pH level in the mouth and can also help prevent bacteria from sticking to teeth. Less acid and less bacteria equals a healthy mouth! Do you prefer a toothpaste with no xylitol? Try Earthpaste’s unsweetened Spearmint!

Wintergreen — This oil lends a sweet, minty flavor and has been used to promote dental health.

Tea Tree Oil — This essential oil is in all of our flavors except lemon twist. It is a strong microbial, helping your teeth and gums feel fresh and clean and supports oral health with excellent anti-viral and anti-fungal properties.

Menthol — Found in peppermint and wintergreen Earthpaste, menthol leaves your breath fresh and mouth feeling clean.

Lemon, Lemon Verbena, Tangerine, and Lime — These citrus essential oils are what give our Lemon Twist Earthpaste such a pleasing flavor. You may wonder if the acidic nature of citrus fruits is a problem for your teeth, but you can relax since citrus essential oils are pH neutral, making them a fine choice for your dental care.

Peppermint — Peppermint oil will make your breath smell fresh, and it’s widely used to promote stress relief and support digestion.

Spearmint — Spearmint essential oils are known for their antimicrobial properties which makes it a great ingredient in Earthpaste.

Cinnamon — Cinnamon brings a familiar, spicy flavor along with its reputation as an antioxidant used to promote healthy immune function.

5.0 out of 5 stars  Perfect.
By Dannielle on February 21, 2014
I use this every day and I am so loyal to Earthpaste that I recommend it to all of my friends.

Earthpaste in general: Straight up all natural. Makes my teeth feel fresh from the dentist smooth. Cleans teeth well enough to see whitening qualities, but not enough to damage teeth. Safe to swallow and does not leave a lingering taste that makes everything taste funny to eat afterwards. Yes, it is brown, but imagine that you have never seen toothpaste before. No, it doesn't foam which takes a little time to get used to, but it is better than foaming at the mouth. No, it does not taste or feel like you are brushing your teeth with sand, mud or clay. Redmond has excellent customer service and great products.

Cinnamon Earthpaste: My favorite of the flavors! I am highly sensitive to mint toothpastes and have always opted for other alternatives. Everything from the shelves just taste horrible! The cinnamons were decent, but they always burned way to much. Earthpaste Cinnamon is not like that! During the holidays when you walk into a store and get a whiff of warm cinnamon which you then discover to be scented pincones. Imagine that scent in a flavor! Perfect. Not your sweet cinnamon, but not your spicey. A great inbetween without the burn.

Earthpaste and Sensitive Mouths: Toothpaste (regardless of flavor) always burns. Afterwards I am left with a terrible filmed tongue and burning at the corners of my mouth. Even the sensitive toothpastes do not work. Earthpaste does not do that at all. No burning, no foaming, no films and no lingering aftertaste. Straight up cleaning without the additives. Great for even the most sensitive of mouths.

5.0 out of 5 stars  Quit the fluoride, buy Earthpaste
By The Zeppelin (Powell, Ohio) on February 03, 2014
No sodium sulfates, not harsh taste, great for kids, and ok to swallow. Lookes like brown cinnamon clay, tastes great. Does not foam (this is good thing). Stop calcifying your Pineal Gland, use Earth Paste.

1.0 out of 5 stars  Beware So-called "healthy" products
By Andrew Brandt on January 14, 2014
I bought this toothpaste thinking that it was good. Fluoride free, natural, etc. But what they don't tell you, the box doesn't even say it either, is that on the tube is printed a warning that states this product contains trace amounts of lead and isn't suitable for children or pregnant women. Being that lead has additive toxicity, it really isn't suitable for anyone. Especially if you have family history of serious health issues. I was actually using the toothpaste when I discovered this warning and instantly said to myself "Oh my god. What the hell did I just put in my mouth!?!?!" It may be fluoride free, but c'mon. Is lead a good trade off? In the future I will be far more cautious before purchasing something that's "organic" and supposedly good for you. I will make sure I know everything about the product before purchasing, as I do not want to be caught off guard again. I suggest you do the same. The only Reason this is getting 1 star is that there isn't an option for no stars.

5.0 out of 5 stars  Good stuff
By B. Barber on December 13, 2013
This really cleans our teeth. They feel smooth and clean. I'm still waiting to hear from my dentist about if it really has done anything else! The cinnamon flavor is very good. Not too intense. Myself and my children prefer it to mint.
