The Best Toothpaste in the World! It is more expensive and harder to find than most of the "popular" toothpastes, but really worth it. It leaves your teeth feeling healthy and your mouth fresh and odor-free. Thank you, Dr Ken!

A natural toothpaste with flouride is hard to find. This one tastes great, works well, and has flouride to keep your enamel strong. I like it much better than Tom's of Maine, and it's very cheap on Amazon.

Not many wintergreen fluoride toothpastes on the market, so I was pleased to find this great tasting fluoride toothpaste which leaves a clean aftertaste. Seems to clean the teeth well

I have used the original Dr Ken's toothpaste for over a year. Which I thought was the best because for the first time in years I stopped getting canker sores or better know as mouth ulcers. I was so happy and bought a bunch of Dr Ken's toothpaste, enough to last me about a year. Fast forward to August 2012, I ordered more toothpaste, after about a weeks worth of use I started receiving canker sores again... I started doing research on the ingredients of Dr Ken's "all natural" toothpaste. It is indeed all natural. However, Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate was added, to the formula and listed as a mineral. Do some research, this is the foaming agent which fools the brain into thinking it is doing a better cleaning job.
I found this on the internet:
"The thought is that Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate may, in susceptible individuals, cause microscopic trauma or membrane disruption to the skin cells in the mouth. This along with trauma or actions of the immune system may lead to canker sore formation."
Unfortunately, I need to find a new toothpaste... Yes I'm disappointed and will not be buying anymore of this toothpaste.

Not as good as Tom's

I bought this based on all the great reviews here. I wanted it to be an alternative to Tom's. I liked the idea of a Wintergreen flavor (my favorite mint flavor), but was disappointed. Plus, the price is really steep compared to Tom's. I felt like my teeth weren't getting as clean with this toothpaste. My mouth definitely didn't feel as fresh and I can't stand the Stevia sweetener. Some people may not mind the Stevia, but I hate it and it's anything but "natural" if you read up on it. It may come from a plant and all, but that doesn't mean it's good for you. Not saying Sorbitol is any better, but taste for taste, I'll stick with the Sorbitol or whatever Tom's sweetens theirs with.
