The review said it could be microwaved to be heated. This is not true, you have to put it in hot water to heat. Does not get warm enough.

It works for tmj. It's high quality. It came quickly in the mail. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has TMJ.

Cool and forms easily to your face

I would recommend this to anyone who has jaw issues, is going to have jaw surgery or wisdom teeth removed. The gel beads freeze up pretty fast between uses and they don't have any sharp edges to poke you.
The smaller Velcro straps coming off the back (what looks like the center of the gel bag) are supposed to go behind your neck to keep the wrap from falling off when you bend forward.
