 Not worth the money, December 28, 2013

I am a dental student in the third year. I bought the package with the 6th ed. book and the videos for our anesthesia course before clinic. The book is excellent and I reference it over and over to perfect my techniques.
However, the video is not very good The sequences are computer animated with cheesy zoom-ins of giant needles and translucent skulls with very basic audio instruction, which offers little help when you are looking at real flesh. Live action videos with thorough step-wise instruction would have been great to review the procedures for the next day. Spend your money elsewhere.

excellent review of technique. Nice to see Gow-Gates too, for those of use who never used it.
He has some stiff competition from Univ of British Columbia videos, however

A truly fascinating video, following the book's format. Pretty concise and helpful to make it through Local Anesthesia without too much trouble. I highly recommend it!
