Instructions would do well to mention needlenose pliers, October 14, 2015

Right- a common complaint about these are that the top set doesn't hold. If you got right into heating the setting plastic without first adjusting the bracers, yes they'll fall off. My suggestion is that you get a pair of needlenose pliers and spend a good 20-30 minutes angling the canine teeth to fit your jaw shape and moving the bracers around, biting down on them til you achieve a shape that holds without the putty. If you want a natural closed-mouth look with the grillz on, pinch your pliers around the rounded portion of the bracer that connects to the tooth and the opposite end of the tooth in a top/bottom direction (so top of the tooth for top set and bottom of tooth for bottom set). After this, follow the instructions regarding heating and you'll find a working product that stays put even after clacking the top and bottom sets together in your mouth. Excellent price for the product given, but the instructions give the impression of a much easier time setting up than it is. I would also mention that after the putty is added, talking becomes a bit difficult.
