I was not able to find this product in my home area after Trader Joe's discontinued selling this. A different brand from a local health store I tried splintered in my mouth (a bit dangerous) and was returned.
I am an oral hygiene freak. This is a good product for picking my teeth between brushing to massage my gums and freshen my breath. The taste is a bit strong but does not stay with me. It leaves my mouth feeling refreshed. Of course I travel with this product and It's great for use on long-haul flights when it's not convenient or sanitary to brush.

 Love product but can cause allergy reaction.

First I want to say I do love these and go through lots of them while at work. So what I am about to write is more of a warning than anything else. I went through many of these, probably 6 packs before one day I developed an allergy to them. My lips swelled on the inside on both sides of the mouth. At first I wasn't sure what it was, but then after a few weeks of experimentation it is clear it is these toothpicks. Apparently cinnamon is a well known contact allergen. I never had that until using these. Admittedly I used a LOT of these and it's more than most people would. But now I can't even have one since the swelling becomes so serious.
So, just a warning. These are awesome toothpicks and they get 5 stars as a product. But I gave them 3 because I feel people need to be aware this can be a serious allergic issue.
