This is one of the best products that I have ever bought myself. In fact, I am now using my second one because I broke the first one. It is hard plastic, but works better than a couple of the softer ones that I bought.

 Works well for the first 6 months

I just bought my 3rd one of these because they work well but after about 6 months they start getting little chips in them at the edge that kind of hurt your tongue.
