 Used to love it, now not so much

Back when it first came on the market it was super strong and did a great job. It's not strong anymore and I find myself often fishing out pieces of snapped-off floss from between my teeth. Hate the pressure that puts in my mouth when that happens! (Have to have a little gripe here). It's frustrating and I'll only use this floss when I run out of the plaited floss, which is pretty strong, but does not work for bridgework.
If the manufacturers would go back to their original formula and make the threads stronger, I'll be more than happy to pay extra.

Excellent for permanent retainers!

My son has a permaent retainer following a year and a half of orthodontic work. He uses this product every single day. He finds this to be the only product that thoroughly cleans the permanent retainer area around his teeth.

 Oral-B used to offer great floss, now not so much

I started using Oral B threaded floss years ago and was very loyal to the brand. Then they started transitioning to these individually cut pieces (probably because a team of MBAs decided they could milk the customer for more money this way), and their plastic containers of Oral-B floss suddenly became defective. Every time I had them, consistently, the lids popped off and wouldn't come back on, usually because the floss became tangled at some point... Again, probably because some MBA decided to save money by destroying product quality.
Well, Oral-B, you have lost me as a customer. I buy a different brand of floss now.
