It took a while to "break in" these shoes. I almost sent them back as I kept slipping out of them. It took some getting used to. I now wear them on an almost daily basis for work. I do not feel that they have hardly any arch support at all when compared to the original type dansko that has the closed heal. I've had 2 pregnancies. The first I had twins totally about 15lbs. My second pregnancy my son was 10+ lbs. My feet took a toll and these are the only shoes I can wear all day without feet/back pain at the end of the day (other then good tennis shoes).

I SHOULD BE A DANSKO REP. BECAUSE I SWEAR BY THESE SHOES. I HAVE A HERNIATED DISC AND THESE SHOES ALLOW ME TO WORK IN THE NURSING FIELD ALL DAY WITH NO BACK PAIN. I WILL NEVER WEAR ANOTHER BRAND FOR WORK AGAIN!!!!
