Size up 1-2 sizes, January 04, 2016

I sized up per suggestions and it was still too tight in the shoulders and hips, as well as loose in the waist. I have larger hips and a smaller waist, but I never thought that I had particularly wide shoulders. If I sized up again it would look really voluminous and unflattering at the waist. Also while it indeed has tons of pockets, they pockets on the inside are at the same place as the outside pockets. So if I put something in both my inside and outside breast pocket, it looks bizarrely lopsided. Unless you had something very thin, like cash/paper in one pocket, I'm not sure you'd want to use both the inside and the outside pockets simultaneously. The 7th pocket is essentially a smaller pocket within one of the larger front pockets that would fit a cell phone.

Love the big pockets. I can fit a book, tablet, chart, exam tools, snacks, and phone easily.

Inconsistent sizing, February 26, 2015

I ordered two lab coats size 2 weeks apart and one of them fits true to size while the other one fits like a size 4. I don't mind I guess since one of them I can use for during the summer with lighter clothes underneath and the other can be for the winter. The inconsistent sizing is due to the lab coats being made in different factories because of them is made in Nicaragua and the other is from El Salvador. (For reference I am petite 5'0" and 100 lbs)

Nice Med Student White Coat, June 25, 2014

I was happy when I got this white coat. The fit was good, I have broad shoulders so the body is a tad bigger than I like, but making sure the shoulders fit comfortably and I was able to move in it was much more important. The expandable Ipad pocket is excellent. I keep my whitecoat clipboard and my kindle fire in it with room to spare. It is important to note that the size of the white coat does not correspond exactly to women's clothes sizes. I am on the small size of a size 8 (5' 6". 140 pounds). I purchased a size 12. If you do not have broad shoulders and are a size 8, a size 10 coat would probably fit well.
