I have seen the results of photos taken with this camera and they are excellent.

The best camera I have ever owned, February 27, 2010

I have used this camera for about 6 months now. The picture quality is outstanding. I hate carrying around a tripod so it really is nice that this camera has in-body image stabilization. The manual says that the stabilization compensates camera shake by upwards of 5 or 6 shutter speeds. This alone has saved many pictures for me. I bought this camera with the 12x60 wide angle lens. I have been able to take some pretty outstanding photos of butterflies at the Tucson Botanical Gardens and the hummingbirds at the Desert Museum. In addition, the E30 has 9 different aspect settings. I am just starting to experiment with these. The ratios, along with the standard ratio, includes 16:9 and 6:6. The 6x6 being a medium format camera size, a camera that I would have to work another full time job to afford. At any rate, I continue to try new things with this camera and so far it has met or exceeded my expectations.
