Amazing camera! We use it in an Aquatica housing for underwater fotography. Obviously in the hands of a professional, the picture are stunning!

5.0 out of 5 stars.  If you have a bad experience with a seller, November 27, 2015
By Em58
So many "reviews" here that actually have little to do with the camera. If you have a bad experience with a seller, this is not the place to blame the camera. I shot a 7100 for 2 years prior to purchasing a D610. 15,000 shots and I was very happy with the performance using AF-S VR lenses. Even though the earlier glass is compatible, it's a royal pain to use. I did get good results with my trusty 50mm 1.8D. At today's prices, the 7100 is a ton of camera for the money. Buy one. You'll be happy.

I've used this camera for quite a while now and haven't found anything that it won't do. A friend has the 5100 and this one has very nice features that make manual adjustments easier. Would recommend.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Awesome Camera, November 18, 2015
By Daniel Hunter
I bought this camera to upgrade from my Sony Alpha DSLR and would do it again. I love this camera even though it comes with a learning curve if you are coming from anything other than another Nikon. I found the menu system a little overwhelming at first but forced myself to learn the manual mode settings and got out there with it as often as I could. I also watched the reviews and found this was a great camera for me. The image quality is the best I have had so far and looks amazing. I now have 3 lenses for my D7100 and 2 of them have the image stabilization built in. That is one thing I wish the Nikon had which is image stabilization in the body and not the lenses. I find myself always wanting to try new things even after almost 2 years of using it. If you are looking to upgrade your current Nikon then this is a good choice especially as the price is falling with the newest model replacing it. I enjoy the speed and the amount of customization allowed in the firmware on the body. The only thing I would suggest is keep in mind that at the 24 MP range you will need to leave some room around your subject to allow for cropping from most consumer print services like Costco or Walmart and Walgreen's. When you go to print an 8x10 from a 24 MP image you will get a good deal of cropping required because most consumer print services are not setup for such large image resolutions. Shoot wider and you should be fine with any cropping needs when printing smaller prints.
