Great product, until my dog chewed through the cord, November 28, 2015

Great product, until my dog chewed through the cord! Does a great job of cleaning fine jewelry. Insert is great for cleaning watch bands without submerging. Only caution is I put a David Yurman ring into it for cleaning (had paves on it) and one of the paves popped out. Perhaps an issue with DY jewelry rather than the device.

Great little device for the money, September 27, 2015

I have to give a 5 star review when something just works as promised and there are no issues at all. It works just as it should, and I can literally see the dirt come off. I have to experiment a bit with the type of liquid or cleaning solution to use, but as far as the machine itself goes, no problems at all.

Melted!, August 20, 2015

Be careful not to put dentures in without using the basket. I used the 180 setting and it still melted the plastic a little.

Nice unit - Does what it says., August 19, 2015

Easy to use, works great. Got all the grime off of hubby's watch band. Only reason I didn't give it a 5 is instructions don't tell you which time is best to use for which application. You have to guess and I guessed too long for my eyeglasses and it vibrated the screw out of the nose piece and I played heck trying to get it back on. That's more a manufacturers issue and not a vendor issue, but it was my only issue. I do love that you can use plain water, soap, or a purchased solution.

Cleans well. I use it with my retainer with a little handsoap. Afterward, sometime I would put my glasses in there. It really gets rid of most of the green grime on the nosepiece of my glasses. Also, some of the coating on the bridge came off of my glasses; that is how strong this cleaner is.

Pretty good, but not magical., August 04, 2015

After using it, it made my wife's white gold ring clean and shiny. It got the stone extremely clean. I wasn't blown away or anything but it did a good job. My jeweler was able to get it shinier but not by much. It loosened (but not removed) the grime on my watch and then I wiped it off, and it got my glasses pretty clean without damaging the coatings.
What did surprise me was how long the shine lasts after using this. I asked my wife if she'd been using it every day because her ring still looked great and she noticed the same thing, but she had only used it the one time about 7 days prior.
It wasn't the god-send, perfect polishing, super-shiner that I was hoping for but it does a good job.
