This ultrasonic cleaner seems to work fine. I use it mostly for cleaning gun parts and find it does a good job saving me scrub time on multiple parts.
I just ordered a plastic basket which I recommend for coated slides and parts. I will be using it for brass as I start reloading. It is a mid range unit and will fit a couple of handguns. I can run 2 1911s at a time through it. It will not work for rifles except for small parts. The stainless basket gives you the best exposure to the vibration (plastic absorbs some) and therefore the best cleaning. This is the same unit one of the reloading supply companies puts its name on. I would have given it 5 stars but the heated function will cause some condensation to build on the lid which will drip down the back when you open the lid. In order to remove the basket the lid cannot be folded back. These two minor for my purposes, design flaws cost it a star.
