We have about 15 of these in our office hooked to our Polycom phones. They work really well and we have never had a unit fail. The ear pads are foam so we keep replacements on hand. I am not sure how long they last but I would guess most have been replaced due to employee turnover (seems more sanitary to switch out the foam for a new employee then to make them use someone's dirty foam ear pad).

Headset not bluetooth for radiation reasons, April 07, 2015

Great headset. I like the wired headsets over the bluetooth because the bluetooth Plantronics gave me symptoms of damage on that side of my head: mild localized headache, swelling around area of metal in root canal tooth. I can take a hint. So, I only use headsets that do not use bluetooth.
