I bought this item almost exactly a year ago. It was great while it worked, but today while shredding bills, it would not even turn on. I used it only to shred bills so it received very little use. We are extremely disappointed to shell out this kind of money for a shredder that only lasted a year. Our last Office Depot cheapo shredder lasted 7+ years and I thought we were upgrading. Very disappointing.
