4.0 out of 5 stars.  Third time's the charm -- So far. . ., November 26, 2015
By A Customer
I purchased this shredder because of the stack and shred capability. I sometimes have stacks of records and wanted to be able to walk away and not have to manually feed the paper through. It worked fine for a little while. Then, it simply would not shut off. I had to watch it and manually turn it on and off after use. I called Acco and was told there is an electronic "eye" between the rollers that lets it know there is no more paper and that it should shut down. Well, you can imagine that this eye down between the rollers gets dusty from all the paper shredding and therefore doesn't realize there isn't any more paper to shred. Unfortunately, I've wiped and wiped the eye and gotten it to turn off, but then suddenly, out of the blue, the shredder will come on any time of the day or night on its own. I realize I could turn it off after use, but that kind of defeats the purpose advertised of being able to insert paper and walk away . . . I received a replacement from ACCO and after fill... 1.0 out of 5 stars.  Gimmicky, Loud, dopy, jammy, sickly, time wasty, POS (but a good idea!)., November 26, 2015
By Doc
Gimmicky gadget/POS. Yes, I read all the tricks about how to fold the paper.
Just sits there, unable to draw a single sheet. Finally gave up and started
to insert papers one at a time from the top. BIN fills in no time.
Paper handling is not robust.
I LOVE the idea of auto-feeding. Too bad it was poorly executed.

Bottom line: look elsewhere.

Junk. The plastic teeth broke soon after purchasing and the feeder didn't work unless everything was just right. I contacted manufacture twice. I bought a Royal at Sams for $60 less and it's still working perfectly.

We've had this for a few years and it's been a great purchase. My only complaint is that it seems to overheat pretty easily. But I haven't used other products, so that might just be a regular thing.

Jams constantly whether feeding individual sheets or using the stack method.
If it overheats, it has to be powered off and left for 15-20 minutes before being powered back on to reset.
Extremely disappointing.

1.0 out of 5 stars.  Poor paper feed design, November 08, 2015
By G. Upchurch
I had lots of problems with the shredder jamming even with standard copier paper. The jams were time consuming to take care of. I will be returning this item to purchase a regular shredder.
