A dentist made me a mouth guard that he could not get right. After 8 months of going back to his office for little adjustments, I bought these strips and started adjusting the guard myself with my own dremel. I used these strips to see where I was hitting hard and I filed down those spots. After about a week of doing this every night, it now fits right. I was very glad to find these available on amazon. Now I just need a new dentist.
