 More toothbrush than I need

I thought I would like this, and it's not bad, but it's not something I kept using after the first year or so. I think the feature that is supposed to help the user spend the recommended amount of time brushing might be helpful for some, and I hope that's the case, but I found it annoying.
Some might attribute this next item to user error, and that may very well be the case, but I started developing sensitivity at the gum line on a couple of my teeth after prolonged use of this toothbrush and that went away when I switched back to a traditional toothbrush. I floss daily, visit the dentist twice a year and have yet to have a cavity (knock on wood). This toothbrush system just seemed like a lot of gadgetry to do something that otherwise should be simple.

I purchased this in Dec. 2008 for my husband, and he still uses today. Everything still works like it was new, and the replacement heads aren't very expensive either. Would definitely recommend!

Electric Toothbrush

I love this toothbrush. It alerts me if I'm using too much pressure. It lets me know how long I'm brushing at 1/2 minute intervals with a slight vibration. The brush rotates so I don't have to move my hand as much. I get a smiley face at the end of 2 minutes. And a larger smiley face if I brush longer.
