Great toothbrush, had one issue with the toothbrush attachments.

This toothbrush is everything I could ask for in an electric toothbrush - the many virtues have been covered well in other reviews.
The only drawback, for me, has been that, if I use the included toothbrush storage case, the inside of the toothbrushes (the "female" fitting that mates with the electric toothbrush) has a tendency to get moldy. Even if I thoroughly rinse it, black mold would eventually start to grow in there. The toothbrush bristles stayed clean but it was still kind of gross.
I eventually rigged up a way to store the toothbrush attachments - basically sticking them on pipe cleaners - that stopped the mold growth.
Again, fantastic toothbrush, totally happy with it overall. Now that I've figured out a way around the mold issue I have no complaints.

Good toothbrush except on/off button requires being pushed just right with some finger pressure. The older Oral B it replaced had an easy on/off button to operate

So far so good. Still not entirely sure why these devices have not moved on to using lithium poly (have they? No indication of the power source in the description) and i wish you could just put a new battery in the item after a year rather then have to waste an entire unit when the battery runs low... performs well at the time, until it's predetermined obsolescence via battery kicks in.

Poor design in so many ways

Poor design in so many ways. The brush head is too large, meaning that I can't keep my mouth closed around it when brushing my front teeth and it sprays water everywhere through the top of the brush head. Has to be taken apart and completely cleaned after every use, otherwise toothpaste-laden water hides inside the brush head and leaks all over the handle section. Terrible design.

I love this toothbrush for my sensitive teeth and gums!

I switched from an ultrasonic electric toothbrush (I won't name names) and I have been so pleased with this one in just the first few days I've used it. The twirling head does all the work for you so I'm not tempted to brush back and forth (so bad for my gums!) when I'm in a hurry. And my gums feel extra safe with the sensitive setting, which my other brush didn't have, but my teeth still get super clean. It's like I get a cleaning from the dentist every time I brush--without the nails-on-chalkboard feeling that the combination of the plastic-y brush head and gritty toothpaste at the dentist's office does. Thank you, Oral-B!

I've been a sonicare user for years, and decided to give this one a try when my last sonicare finally died. I'm sure both brands do just fine for cleaning teeth so no complaints for either in that department. I've used the Oral b for a few months now and just have 2 observations. They're not major issues for me, but just enough that next time I'll probably go back to Sonicare. 1. Sonicare brush action was definitely more "intense" and made my teeth feel cleaner. 2. Oral b has this hole just under the brush that dribbles so its been messier to use. On a funny side note. When the sonicare died, it would start running and I couldn't shut it off. I took out the insides and threw it in the trash. Middle of the night it starts running again in the trash. Couldn't remove the battery so I started cutting wires connecting the battery. Startled me when it started running again! I took out some pliers and broke the circuit board. A light on the board slowly faded and it finally died. Just like the Terminator movie!
