Do I ever love my oral B. My teeth feel just like they do after a professional cleaning and it has been 2 months since my last cleaning. I have to say it works better than my sonicare. Highly recommended

 Too many negatives to justify the single positive

Pros:
- Teeth and gums feel very clean. Although this is the single most important criteria for any toothbrush, this one positive attribute was ultimately outweighed by all the negatives detailed below.
Cons:
- Brush handle is too big and bulky.
- Inconsistent power to the rotating brush head. Power decreased when battery decreased, but was usually strong when starting a brushing session, then decreased while brushing, sometimes to the point that I wondered if it was going to just stop despite two out of three bars lit on the battery meter.
- No way to tell what brushing mode you're in.
- You must go into the app settings and configure what modes are available and the order in which you want them on the brush handle.
- Then, in order to know what mode you're in, you have to know how many times to press the mode button on the handle (not even the app reveals what mode you're in).
- The brush's cylindrical distance from brush tip/bristles to plastic base is great enough to cause difficulty squeezing the brush between back teeth and cheek. I basically had to hold my cheek out to reach the sides of my back teeth.
- The battery life is terrible. Full 24 hours for initial charge on Tuesday, then needed to charge again on Saturday.
Result: Returning. Do not recommend.

I received this toothbrush as a free trial from oral b in exchange for my opinion on it. It makes my teeth feel great! Like I've just been to the dentist. I do find the bluetooth connectivity a bit odd since I don't bring my phone to the bathroom. Full strength is a bit brain rattling in the mornings but you can turn that down and use the sensitive setting. If you do use the app to keep track it's kind of a neat feature. I've always been a manual brush user but this definitely gets the job done better.

Excellent toothbrush. I had another Oral-B electric brush for a number of years, but it eventually would run out of power sooner and sooner - understandable after a long time. Now that I have this Pro 5000 I actually look forward to brushing my teeth because it is gentle yet powerful, and I love that it has 5 brushing options (via Bluetooth).

 Worked good for a month

Worked good for a month. After that it quit working. Then I just heard I have to send it to Massachusetts for repair. Only a month old and won't even have my toothbrush! Garbage product!
