Stylish but Bland, November 20, 2015

The flavor of the mints is simply okay. It does not last for long and there's a bit of a disparity between the flavors. The chai and mojito mints are somewhat lacking in flavor while the spare mint and cinnamon flavors are okay but not noteworthy. Additionally, all of the mints have a bit of an artificial flavor to them which begins to dissipate rather quickly into a mint that simply tastes of nothing. Two things the mints get right are the name and the aesthetics. Oral Fixation is sure to make any neo-Freudian giggle and the art deco aesthetic of the tins themselves is sleek and sophisticated. So if you want mints that are bound to make others interested in what you're popping into your mouth, you can't go wrong with these. But if you care about what's actually going into your mouth, perhaps choose a different brand.

These are kind of pricey, but they are fun and the cases that these come in are beautiful. I personally like gentler mints. These are NOT anywhere near Altoids or a lot of the really strong mints that have been popular for the last 15 years or so. They are gently flavored. You can toss a pack of these in your bag and not reek of mint oil. I also really, really, really appreciate having the option of sugar free mints that don't contain aspartame or splenda. That said, they are not sweet and not strong (both things I happen to like).
Sugar Free Tibet (Wintergreen): Very, very mild wintergreen flavor.
Mojito Mint (Lime mint): I really like this one... minty enough to feel cool on the tongue, and you can still taste the lime.
Spare Mint (Spearmint): a gentle spearmint flavor, again just minty enough to feel a little cool on the tongue but otherwise non obtrusive.
Classical Peppermint: This is by far the strongest of the minty mints. Kind of like a candy cane.
Night Light (caffienated chai - no mint): These smell amazing. To me they taste like chai tea with no milk or sugar... that kind of earthy spice flavor. Unlike the other mints, these are made with sugar, but they are not sweet and they dissolve differently in your mouth. I am not sure if I like them.... but I have only had one so far so I am not sure. It tasted good initially, then suddenly had a weird chemical taste.
7 Deadly Cinnamon: I liked this one a lot

Unpleasant and overpriced, October 23, 2013

I find the Newman's Own mints in the tins (not the rolls), which come in several flavors, are a better value in terms of price per lozenge. I also enjoy the comparable flavors of the Newman's Own mints better. The redeeming property of the Oral Fixation Mints is that they come in some flavors unavailable elsewhere. Still, I do not plan on re-ordering these once I consume the package I purchased.

Hard to find, but worth the search, May 07, 2013

These are the best mints around... extra bonus, the empty tin doubles as a metal "wallet" for RFID credit cards and travel cards including driver's license. This is my only wallet!
