Was damaged when arrived. The back of the unit was dented pretty bad (cant see it when up against the wall) and there was damage to one of the lower corners(looks like a forklift hit it). Not sure if the damages caused this but the whole thing is not straight, like it leans to one side. This makes the bottom drawer stick and hard to open.

I was hesitant about buying any filing cabinet after reading all the reviews about them being cheaply made and coming already damaged. But when you need a cabinet, you need a cabinet so I crossed my my fingers I ordered this one.
When it arrived it's box was in tact and there was sturdy Styrofoam encasing the top and bottom. The box was strapped on a pallet that was in good shape. There were no dings, scratches or dents. The cabinet itself was heavy, the drawers opened and closed smoothly, the locking mechanism worked smoothly and the cabinet in general felt durable. If it holds up over the next several months I will be buying another one.
NOTE: This cabinet is in a back office where there is very light traffic and is only accessed by one person.
