As a healthcare professional I find this monitor to be completely useless. The monitor was used to reveal stage 2 systolic hypertension in one arm (155/70). I considered this an anomaly and thus tested the other arm only to find a similar result (150/78). Pulling out the good old manual blood pressure cuff and stethoscope revealed an actual blood pressure of 122/70. The results of this machine are completely unacceptable and rendering medication would have caused hypotensive issues. I can't recommend this monitor, whether the mic is too sensitive or just nonfunctional, I can't see how these readings are possible. I should note that I verified proper placement and application, it's my living to do such things.

Returned the product the day it came in.
Tried it thrice and each of the 3 times it showed different results. Tried it on my mother who is known to have high pressure (160 range). It showed 117. That is when I was sure it was going back.

After carefully following the directions (including the troubleshooting section) and getting error messages 9 out of 10 times, I returned this item as being virtually useless. Be sceptical of the glowing four and five-star reviews. Many of them are by people who were given the product gratis and thus are of dubious reliability.
Addendum: I subsequently ordered a different (and more expensive) blood pressure monitor. Prior to its delivery, Greater Goods magnanimously sent me a free replacement unit stating "It seems like you received a broken unit. It is extremely rare that one of our products arrives broken...We are a small company who tries to do everything we can to give our customers a great experience, and when someone receives a broken product, we try and act swiftly to make up for it. We truly believe this product is a legitimate five star product. I'm confident you'll have a better experience with the replacement, so we have gone ahead and sent you out a free unit to make up for this mistake".
Had they contacted me before shipping it, I'd have told them not to bother. Unfortunately, the same problem persisted with the second unit. The cuff is extremely poorly designed. There is so much velcro on the cuff that it is virtually impossible to align the cuff properly and get a tight enough fit to get any reading - accurate or otherwise. I had my wife try using the product and she had the same problem. I even had her put it on me (so that two hands could be used) and it still would not inflate and resulted in an error message. Clearly this is an extremely poorly designed product.

This the best and most accurate Professional Upper Arm Blood checking device, I have high blood pressure have about 3 different ones and to be honest with you I donated the the others and they are the others most sold and higher rated, even my daughter who is a Doctor has changed over to this brand and recommending it to all her patients that require the use of one, this is very accurate, easy to use ,read and operate ,compact But the most important is it is as accurate as no other ,and that is the most important thing , specially when you have the wrong reading in long terms could be detrimental to your health thinking one thing when its not right, or not taking medication for high blood pressure when in fact you should. The price is also very low considering such a perfect device in all aspects, give a try I guarantee it will be the only and last you will Purchase, its your Health your Life and that has no price.

This is a great monitor that is super easy to read! I love the ease of use, because it is one button to function. The cuff fits the smallest or largest of arms. We have tried other brands, and the Health Guru is by far superior. The fact that you take the readings from the arm, rather than the wrist is a huge benefit. I personally use this monitor and it is awesome! I had to call customer support when my original machine was not working properly. However, their support is amazing! They had a new machine to me in no time! I would recommend Health Guru to anyone!
