Messy but great product

I've been buying charcoal caps which work great mixed with toothpaste..I decided to try this because one product is the actual toothpaste with charcoal (so I didn't have to mix it) and the other is a container of charcoal (so I don't have to take apart the capsules and this is much more product for the $). So, toothpaste is good, tastes fine and all (would like a stronger mint to it for minty fresh breath when I'm done), the powder..is MESSY! The jar is filled to the top and the first time you open it, it will spill all over. Every time I open the jar it makes a mess. I can live with this..just have to wash my sink with soap and water after every use. I have been wetting my brush, dipping it in the powder and then adding the toothpaste to it, brushing, leaving it in my my mouth for 10-20 minutes (brushing every few minutes) and it has been doing a great job of whitening my teeth and leaving them very clean...it is very messy but that's how it is with charcoal and the results are great, so it is worth it. I have been wanting to find a natural teeth whitener as I have sensitive teeth and the traditional whitening strips make my teeth hurt. This stuff is really cool. I like that there are two options - the powder seems more powerful in stain fighting, while the paste leaves your mouth feeling fresh and clean. Love this combo of charcoal toothpaste and toothpowder! Both the peppermint and orange flavors are really nice. Both the tooth powder and the charcoal toothpaste leave my mouth feeling so clean and I can already tell my teeth are getting whiter! Was this review helpful to you?
