3.0 out of 5 stars.  Rejects...Bottoms not flat, November 30, -0001

The functionality of the Dr. Brown's system can't be beat. They are truly terrific at preventing excess gas during feedings. Yes, they require a little more work in the bottle washing department, but well worth it when I have a happy baby with no gas pains. The bottle tops and internal parts work perfectly as designed and when screwed on tightly, do not leak like other brands (Avent). My only issue with these bottles is that these ones do not have flat bottoms and kind of tip-over. It's like the plastic was molded incorrectly and the bottom part comes out instead of going into the bottom of the bottle. The bottles are still functional, but I have to be extra careful not to spill when filling them and never use the defective ones when preparing nighttime feeds in low-lighting with my eyes still halfway shut. Not sure if these were the factory rejects? I purchased a single bottle from Babies R Us and it does not have the same isssue.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Our favorite bottles!, November 30, -0001
By M. Farris
These bottles were recommended to me by a new mom and I diligently bought a set. We'd accumulated quite a few brands of bottles but within the first week of feeding our newborn, my husband and I both found ourselves gravitating to using only Dr. Brown's bottles and I quickly ordered another set and put away the other brands. It's something about the flow or pressure of the milk that we like.
I also appreciate that these bottles are compatible (enough) with my Medela pump so I can pump directly into these bottles.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Leave Gas in the Past!, November 30, -0001
By Willie V. HughesEnthusiast: PhotographyTOP 500 REVIEWERon October 23, 2017 Size: 4-Pack|
The best bottles around. We tried a half-dozen different bottle brands and shapes, and our preemie baby boy preferred these (with a set of preemie nipples). He now requires very little burping, and very rarely regurgitates anything up.

With regard to the 8oz size vs 4oz size, in retrospect, I would have stayed with the 4oz. Our son never drinks more than 4oz in one setting and therefore the 8oz is overkill. He'll be transitioning to solid foods soon and will never get beyond 4oz of formula in one sitting.

The only thing I will say bad about these bottles is that they take a bit more cleaning, but they come with a brush so you should be all set.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Really helped with gas, November 30, -0001
By Michelle
These bottles really help with taking in less air for my babies - my twins used to struggle with gas a lot with previous bottles we were using and after switching to these we noticed a huge improvement. Just make sure you keep the small disk-like piece for if you are traveling with the bottles, I learned the hard way if you don't use that piece and then your bottle tips over in your cooler, it will leak everywhere, even with the lid on!

3.0 out of 5 stars.  Love them but they don't travel well, November 30, -0001
By Steph Q.
Love them but they don't travel well, they leak when they're on their side even with the cap on. Lost a bottle of breastmilk because of this.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Wish all Dr. B's bottles had the measurements printed like these., November 30, -0001
By hnfryer
These do appear to be the left over parts that are mixed and matched. However, I like that these bottles have the information printed in color, rather than molded into the plastic. It's so much easier to see how much I'm pouring into the bottles. It does seem like the bottoms are not completely flat, so maybe these are imperfect. However, this hasn't been a problem. They stand fine in the fridge and on the counter.
