The Dr. Brown's Natural Flow Standard Baby Bottles offer a wonderful feeding experience with innovative vent technology. Dr Brown's bottles use a patented 2-piece internal vent system for your baby's comfort. This system creates positive-pressure flow for vacuum-free feeding that is similar to breastfeeding. The breast milk or formula flows freely without nipple collapse. As the baby feeds, air is channeled from the nipple collar through the vent system to the back of the bottle. Air never mixes with the breast milk or formula so oxidation is prevented, thereby maintaining essential vitamins such as C, A and E. The vent system eliminates air bubbles in the formula or milk, which helps to reduce feeding problems like colic, spit-up, burping and gas. Dr. Brown's bottles are completely BPA, PVC, lead and phthalate free for your baby's safety.

even better than standard Dr. Brown's - wish I had bought these sooner!, November 30, -0001

I have been reluctant to buy these since there aren't as many positive reviews for these as there are for the Dr. Brown's standard (narrow) mouth bottles. I finally found a good deal on them here on Amazon and decided to try them out, and I'm very glad I did. For one thing, the standard mouth bottle opening is so narrow that I felt they weren't getting cleaned or rinsed out enough when I run them through the dishwasher. The 8oz standard bottles are so tall that they don't fit upright in any microwave sterilizer, not even the Dr. Brown's microwave sterilizer, which is pretty annoying -- you have to angle them and prop them up which is such a hassle, and half the time they fall over anyway. I am not sure if the wide-mouth 8oz bottles fit upright in the sterilizer, but they are a good 3 inches shorter. These are also less likely to hit the underside of the faucet -- which is so filthy! -- when washing them. Since these are wider, they are less top heavy and less likely to fall over if you accidentally brush them with your hand while preparing a bottle at 3am! The beige part of the valve, is bigger, so I am thrilled that I can fit my little finger in the little crevice around the stem. Like the standard mouth Dr. Brown's, the colic system on these is unbeatable; there's really no denying that. I have not had any issues with these leaking. The only downside is that my baby has a short upper lip and possibly a minor lip tie issue, so his top lip can't fit all the way around the nipple, but that simply can't be avoided with any wide-mouth style bottle. Also, I do prefer warming up my milk/formula in the narrow bottles because they warm up faster (more surface area touching the hot water), so that doesn't factor into my review. Please click the 'helpful' button if this helped your decision! I really wish that I had tried them sooner and I hope that others will also.

Great bottles, except you have to loosen the top ..., November 30, -0001

Great bottles, except you have to loosen the top when warming milk. Otherwise, the steaming bottle warmer causes milk to be pumped out. This happens with different bottle warmer brands, including the Dr. Brown's warmer. That being said, I have purchased these bottles for all three of my kids and would do it again.

My daughter has colic and she spends her days screaming in pain. I finally decided to try these bottles out, they have literally saved my life! My daughter is much more happy and she no longer cries for hours. If your thinking about getting these definitely do! I have the glass bottles as well and they work amazingly too!

Wider Better, November 30, -0001

Very easy to use and I love the wide neck openings for preparing formula. The larger width bottle is easy to grasp when feeding and is sturdier for longer use.

Either the nipple is too big or something is really a Miss I have to use 4 oz of milk due to the fact that 2 oz will waste on her clothes and I have to change her clothes after every feeding when using these bottles I tried to get the bottles that will be close to making my daughter feel like she's being breastfed due to the fact that my wife breastfed for an entire month but it don't work she waste more milk trying to actually feed I took one of her brothers old bottle which is actually dr. Brown narrow I put a size 1 nipple on it and it works perfectly so here I have 10 bottles that I purchase within the last 40 days that I have to throw in the trash

Great customer service, but bottles continued to leak, November 30, -0001

I was constantly having problems with the bottles leaking. I contacted customer service and they were fantastic, they even sent me replacement bottles, vents, etc., but I continued to have the same issue. Eventually I just threw all the bottles away ( I had 8 of them). I have been using Tommee Tippee bottles with no leaking issues.
