Hands down the best way to floss braces. I tell my patients too, I'm a dental hygienist with braces on.

The floss itself is very poor quality and the amount of floss between the two plastic posts is miniscule. I have not measured the actual amount of floss, but it is probably about 1.5 inches. That is not enough floss to use for your whole mouth. I only use it for my back teeth. The idea and actual use of this product is good, but I don't like the idea of sticking the same piece of used floss all over my mouth. I prefer to use a clean piece of floss as I move along between my teeth.

I have some periodontal disease and the dentist said I really need to floss between my rear molars, which I cannot reach with regular floss. I tried this and the GUM floss handles. Both work, but the Gumchucks are better! The Gumchucks allow me to floss between the teeth I cannot reach, and allows me to angle the two handles any way I need to in order to get the floss where it needs to go. The GUM floss handles are a Y shape and I cannot vary the angle of the handles, just of the floss. I did notice that my close-set teeth do fray the Gumchucks floss, but since I only use this for several teeth (and regular floss for the rest), I have no issue with the floss breaking too soon. That's about the only caveat to them, and your results may vary.
