I LOVE this little trainer! It's very easy to operate, and the guided CPR steps (metronome, counting, pause for breaths) during the 2-minute pause has helped so many classes "get" it. I'm always astonished at how often non-medical people don't seem to understand the need to do CPR continuously. But with this little gadget, it's not just me - and not just the video - telling them to keep on going, lol!

Prestan Professional AED Trainer is the perfect fit for my teaching needs.
Over my years of being both a student and teacher of CPR classes, I have used a variety of AED trainers. I now own a small CPR/First Aid education company. Starting out, I purchased a beginners instructor package... The AED trainer that came with it felt cheap, and did not function properly. I was embarrassed to use it in front of students and fellow instructors. When teaching at other schools, I liked their trainers, but could not purchase them on my budget.
I searched for a solution. After reading reviews and watching product demonstration videos on multiple trainers, I decided I would give the Prestan Professional AED Trainer a try. Boy, am I happy I did!
From the moment I opened the package, I noticed the difference from my old trainer. This one was built solid, had a professional look, and a great feel in my hands. Setup was a breeze, and prep for class took seconds. The carry case is attractive and should protect it well. My students liked the ease of use, clear prompts, and built-in metronome for compressions.
I am looking forward to the ease of pad replacement, and the ability to update the unit as guidelines change. I have not had the unit long enough to speak of long-term use, durability, or cost to own. The Prestan Professional AED Trainer is a great product at a great price, and the perfect addition to any CPR instructor's equipment bag!
