Ok, so let's be clear about this - this is not a necessary item for flossing, but it does do a great job if you set it up right. You can buy stringable flossers that thread perpendicular to the handle or disposable ones that work just fine, although many others I've purchased have eventually broken. What this does do is fulfill the role of a sturdy, aesthetic, novelty item that also happens be the best flosser I've ever used.
I'll admit not threading it right on my first try and maybe not being intuitive for everyone, but I honestly don't understand some of the comments here.
The video tutorial on their website does a great job of explaining it and I've never had issues since. It's awesome to have a flosser that's easy to switch what direction you come from and even floss both your upper and lower teeth at the same time. It's a great travel-size too, I've ended up buying them for family members who also love them.

It's OK but way too much work to set up. I was looking for a way to avoid the finger strangulation I usually get from flossing but I don't feel like winding floss around a holder for 5 minutes every day x 2. I'll use my fingers and suffer.

Well , the instructions on the back of the package are a little unclear so I resorted to a you-tube video which helped out a lot. The flosser works well as anticipated and it really is easy to thread once you get used to it ! Terrific !! Thanks , Gary
