Was highly skeptical, but now a true believer!

I purchased this about 2 or 3 weeks ago. I had a cavity forming on one of my teeth & a crack. It was becoming painful but not unbearably so. The tooth was rough on my tongue, & the jagged edge was irritating. The very 1st time I used it, I was not impressed with the flavor. It's salty the essential oils burned. It was tolerable though. The pain & discomfort completely went away! When I used it again that night it burned even more, but again the pain went away, & I could notice how clean my teeth were! They literally squeaked! The next day I thought that I might have to discontinue it's use because the tip of my tongue seemed to be going numb. However, I stayed with it & I'm glad that I did! The jagged edge feels smoother, the dark part of the tooth where the cavity was is lighter in color, & the crack seems to be healing as well. I am using this product alone, & none of the rest of the line (so far). You only need to use a tiny bit of the paste, so I suspect that the jar will last a VERY long time! I've adjusted to the salty taste, my mouth feels fresh & clean after, the burning stopped after about a week, my gums are no longer inflamed & red, & there is zero problem with bad breath! This morning I decided to try my old toothpaste for comparison, & I was surprised at how dirty my teeth felt after brushing. I think this is all that I will use for the rest of my life. I would love to use it on my 6 year old as well, but I don't think she would cooperate. Was this review helpful to you?

Ok, I was skeptical about using this toothpaste because it didn't have the loud writing "fights cavities, fights gingivitis, removes plaque" and the rest of the blah, blah, blah that we've all been trained to look for by the ADA. But, I decided to give it a try. Well, yesterday I had my regular checkup with the dentist, and after that visit, I will never go back to regular big brand toothpaste EVER AGAIN! If I could give this product more stars, I would! My visit started with the dental hygienist who's been cleaning my teeth for years. She immediately noticed a difference in the amount of plaque buildup that was on my teeth, and what normally would've been at least a 45 minute cleaning, went to under 30 minutes. She has always had to use an ultrasonic type tool to clean my teeth, and this time all she used was the regular dental pick tool. To say I was thrilled is an understatement!!! That was an incredible part of my visit, but what came next was literally mind blowing. The hygienist wanted the doctor to look at a spot on my X-ray that had changed from my last X-ray. It was a little spot under the gum line that was black on the last X-ray, and was now gray-white. Her concern was that it looked like a bigger area, but couldn't understand why there was such a big difference in images. In comes the doctor, and he looked at the X-ray, picked the spot under my gum line that was in question on the X-ray with his little pick tool, and couldn't really make sense of why the big difference. He said it looks like the enamel had increased in that area, but chalked it up to the angle of the X-ray. I knew better!! I was elated!! I have NEVER had an experience in the dentist office like this before where my teeth were doing so good that it left staff scratching their heads. Don't get me wrong; I've always had good, strong, healthy teeth and oral hygiene, and my visits almost always end well with no problems. This visit, however, was one for the books!! I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for healthy oral hygiene. It's worth noting that I also use the mouth wash and liquid remineralization as part of my regular routine. Another note that may help is that I purchased a little bag of wooden mini craft sticks (mini popsicle sticks) as a companion to this product for an easy to use applicator for applying the paste to the brush. That way I don't have to try to dip my brush in the jar, and can get a good sized little ball of paste out of the jar with ease. BEST TOOTHPASTE EVER USED.

i have been looking for a good toothpaste untill i did across this one. I usually dont leave reviews cause its not my nature but for this product i will.I was born in kenya and i remember we used to use clay to brush our teeth with.My grandma would mix salt,clove oil,a little bit of ash from dried bean leaves and coconut water together with the bentonite clay which you actually use with to detox your body by adding it in water and drinking it.Anyway back to this product.so when i received the toothpaste i was skepticle but mmmmmmm decided to use it.As soon as i did start to brush my teeth it hit me about my grandma toothpaste. This is the best or if not near or close taste i could get. i knew i had hit a jackpot.within a week two of my cavities are gone.i just cancelled my dental appointment and when they asked me the reason why i did cancel i told them its before i learned a natural way to remove cavities.Anyway the next day i called my mum and tells her about this great toothpaste and immediately she says "if its uncle harry i have been using it for the last 3 years".......i was shocked cause it seems i was the last one to know. my advice to all people who still use the commercial toothpaste,please throw them away as fast as you can. you are killing yourself.All of those toothpaste have chemicals in them that you will find in soap,hand sanitizer,shampoo and many more cleaning detergents. Those chemicals are. Toxic Toothpaste Ingredients Triclosan. ... Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) ... Artificial Sweeteners. ... Fluoride. ... Propylene Glycol. ... Diethanolamine (DEA) Microbeads. check out these chemicals and if you see it in a toothpaste that says NATURAL,just throw it away. its not natural AS long as they stick to their ingredients am a loyal customer for life. lastly i did call colgate and asked them why they use toxic chemicals in toothpaste and i was never given a clear answer.A they said is that they would send a couple so that i could try their products. This gets your gross teeth CLEAN.

I was worried about ordering this toothpaste because so many reviews claimed it tasted horrible. I mean, I suppose if you order this expecting it to taste like your average Crest toothpaste, the taste might catch you off guard. It tastes exactly as you would expect a natural toothpaste to taste. It does have a bit of a spicy feel in your mouth, and yes, it feels a bit muddy, there is clay in it. But it is not gross, its not unmanageable. And it should be on your teeth, not your tongue anyway. If you have ever used "toothy tabs" from Lush - this is going to be a similar experience, but this works so much better. It gets your teeth CLEAN. It also doesn't foam up all over your hand/mouth/face while you brush like a normal toothpaste, so its a much more enjoyable experience in my opinion. If you want to ditch fluoride and all the other horrible stuff in commercial toothpaste, this is the only product you need to try. 7 of 7 people found the above review helpful. One For the Price of Two

Received my package yesterday and noticed the bag had a minty smell - figured that was because the toothpaste was so strong. Opened the package to find one of the two items had its safety seal broken, product was discolored and had a dirt smell to it. The product that was intact smells great and I used it this morning to brush with. Taste was great, texture nice and it worked very well considering it was the first time using it! Great product--exceeded my expectations!

This is a fantastic product! I will never go back to traditional toothpaste as long as I can purchase this product. I purchased this product hoping that I could reverse years of tooth decay I had created from a 'woo' alternative medicine that required me to suck on lemons (stupid, I know--I was naive and completely ignorant that the acid from the lemons would destroy my enamel). Years later I'm stuck with weak, brittle teeth that are sensitive and it seemed like nothing could fix my teeth. But, I was persistent and I thought: "If humans can grow bones, surely I can find someway to restore my enamel". Sure enough. Years later--even after having this damage uncorrected for several years--I did a little research, found this product, took a leap of faith and am very grateful I did. I have been able to almost completely reverse the damage to my teeth in just one purchase--and I'm not even done with the first jar yet! I have been regularly using the mouthwash (Uncle Harry's Natural Alkaline Miracle Mouthwash, 8 Fl Oz) and liquid remineralizer (Uncle Harry's Remineralization Liquid for Tooth Enamel (1 Fl Oz)) with the toothpaste as per the instructions and within just one purchase my teeth have already become whiter, stronger, almost impervious to heat, cold and accidental taps from my toothbrush or other hard objects (stuff like that used to hurt if I tapped the tooth in just the right weak spot with the right amount of force), and restored the enamel to their original pearly white. From this product I learned that the secret to regrowing enamel is that the teeth have to be saturated in the right environment--an alkaline one (among other things). Before this, I had tried all sorts of other things to help the health of my mouth and teeth, but nothing that I have tried has been as beneficial and effective as this toothpaste and the other products offered by Uncle Harry's. The toothpaste can be used very conservatively. I only used a very small portion on the tip of my brush and I find it provides sufficient cleansing and coverage of my entire mouth. To apply the paste to my brush I gently scoop the paste from the jar using the bristles of my toothbrush. The toothpaste is extremely antiseptic and there is no danger in directly dipping your brush into the paste. Thank you Uncle Harry's!
